Were you as surprised as I was that David H got the boot? Do you think his performance was that bad or is this fallout over the stripper job thing??

I thought he was cheesy the other night. It didn't impress me at all.

I'm not too surprised. I thought his performance was cheesy, too. I think Ramiele should have been in the bottom 3 instead of Syesha but for me, those 4 were my least favorite of the remaining contestants. Syesha and Ramiele have pretty voices but I think they're boring. I love Michael Johns and Brooke White.

I wasn't surprised that he was voted off, I don't think he had the worst performance of Tuesday night. I thought he was in the bottom three with Cook, but I also think David A should of been there, he forgot the lyrics and I personally don't like the tone of his voice. However, its popularity contests so he will be there for a long time........

However, I think both Brooke, David C. and Chikezie are under-rated....my favorite still is Carly!

Not exactly surprised; I think he had an okay voice....but he was NEVER going to win the competition. He probably deserved to be in the bottom 3--but was far from the worst. I do believe that honor belonged to Kristy. Syesha was a close second in my never to be humble opinion. But, I do believe that the information of David H's past stripping history definitely played into the voting public's actions (or inactions of voting him in). I still think David A has a great voice, he is just still young and everyone of these singers will probably forget the words one night and/or have another off-key bad night. But you never know....

I think what hurt David was that at one time he was a stripper. For some people that is too much to handle. I personally thought his performance was bad. I am hoping for Brooke to win. Little David is cute but he is already going to be big without him winnin AI.

Dick's Cabaret is a *gay* strip club in Phoenix. I am not opposed to this lifestyle choice but many might be... especially combined with the stripping??? Also, about half of the performances (including David's) were bad to my ears. I just started watching this past week with the final 12. I'm thinking of skipping a few weeks until it's more like the final 6.

I enjoyed Amanda, David C, and Chikizee. I am a rock and roll fan and my ears don't do well with 'easy listening/pop'.

Did they announce this years' musical coaches yet? I missed that if they did... May go on over to americanidol.com

From what I understand, there will be NO musical coaches this year. I think I remember they said they wanted to focus more on the contestants and less on the big stars. Personally I always enjoy the guest "coaches", I thought it was more interesting.
