Anyone besides me doing weight watchers??

I am doing weight watchers again (it worked really well for me the first time I did it) and I am going into week 5 and all I have lost so far is 4 pounds At first I was having a hard time drinking all the water (I felt like I was living in the bathroom, in fact a few people at worked asked if I was pregnant since I was in there so much, sorry not pregnant just chubby ) but I gave up all sodas and sweetened drinks and have been drinking water or unsweetened iced tea. Here comes my problem now, I am doing flex and get 24points per day, however, by the time 8pm comes I still have 7-9 points left. I dont like eating past 8-830 because thats when I get lazy and when I do eat, I don't eat that much and its mainly vegetables or fruit. I was told I need to eat more, so do any of you have any advice how to add more points to my intake? My goal is to try and be down 10 pounds by June. Here is a sample of what I have been doing:

AM wake up drink a glass of water 0pts
breakfast: 100 cal. bagel and weight watcher cream cheese 2pts tea 0pts
morning snack: apple or grapes 1pt 1c fat free milk 2pts
lunch salad with fat free italian dressing 0pts
chicken breast 3 pts
10 baby carrotts
afternoon snack 100 cal. snack pack 2pts
dinner:
3oz chicken 3pts
carotts 0pts
salad with fat free italian dressing 0pts
1 c fat free milk 2pts

night snack
1 skinny cow mini fudge pop 1 pt

i am on weight watchers also. this is also my second time at it. i had 2 children and stopped during that time and now restarted again in november. i know they always tell us "you have to eat to lose". you must eat all of your points so your body doesn't starve and hold onto what you eat. another way to use another 2 points is by using the 2 tsps of oil on your salad. oils is stressed at meetings too. i think you might want to use a dip for your carrots every once in a while. that could use some points up.
i envy that you have that many points left at the end of the day. keep up the good work!

I agree that you have to eat all of your points to lose. I lost 35 lbs a few years back and have kept most of it off. I still pay for the monthly online membership to help keep me on track (I only did the online program).

Instead of a 100 calorie pack, try:

8 reduced fat triscuits with 1 wedge of laughing cow cheese 3.5 points
or
pita pizza: wheat pita bread (2 pts) with pizza sauce (0-.5 points depending), mozzerella cheese (1-2 pts depending) with turkey pepperoni (1 pt)

As said, for your salad you might go for oil and vinegar to up your points. I hate fat free dressings because of the artificial crap in them. You could add cheese to your salad for a couple more points (and calcium!).I also think a dip for your carrots would work. You could also top your bagel with peanut butter (2-4 points)

good luck! Water is my easiest thing. I have a bottle that holds 23 oz and I drink 2 of them before lunchtime...

I haven't stirred myself to re-join but I need to.
One thing I found helpful to me was more points for breakfast.
I am not a person that eats big in the morning but one thing I do is make a smoothie with skim milk, fat free yogurt, frozen fruit and a 1/4 of oatmeal.
That for me gets in the calcium because that is always hard for me and it's a quick yummy start in the morning.

I'm a lifetime member, I lost a large amount of weight doing WW.....my advice to you is substitute some of your 0 point snacks for snacks that are 1-2 points if you are having a hard time eating all your daily points. Have fruit instead of the carrots, add some low-fat cheese to your salad, have an extra ounce of protein at one of your meals. Personally I don't know how you are only doing 17 points and are not hungry.....my maintenance points are over 24 daily and there are days when I am hungry. Good luck.....remember don't starve your body....it will retaliate and hold the fat.

I have been doing WW on my own (I am not a member). I have been doing okay, but losing very slowly. I lost 18lbs, but it took me about four months. I would like to shed another five pounds, but at this point, I am just maintaining what I already lost. It took me a month to loose one pound. I just take one day at a time, and try to stay on track. I do take one day a week off and eat something I really love, but I try not to go too overboard! The one thing I have been really good about is exercise. I exercise six days a week. I think exercise is a huge key...
