We have one from Eqoquest. We love it. It was expensive to buy, but in my opinion well worth it. We have a lot of family that is allergic to cats and some could not even come into our house before we had it, and we only have one cat.
It also is nice to come home from vacation etc.. and the house does not feel stale and stuffy. When someone is sick, we will put it in a room on a higher setting and fumigate!!!!!!!!!!!!(obviously when they are out of the room) Most of the time we keep it in the kitchen.

Yes we have one. It was a gift from my MIL. I think of it more as a noise maker than anything else.

We have had several over the years -- most were Holmes or Honeywell brand. They were good quality and expensive. I think they helped some, but honestly I could not stand the noise they made -- even the ones that were supposed to be really quiet.

If I had it to do again, I would have one installed on my furnace -- those are very expensive, but it would be worth it to me not to have the ugly and noisy units plugged in all over my house.
