internet connections

Does anyone have any info on a telephone or cable connection i might be able to get so that i may take my puter with me when I go back up north for 6 months. I hate all this changing phone company's and internet providers every 6 months thank you for any information

my sil talked about a wireless network card you can get for $60 but I only half listened to her lol

Wireless Internet Card | LaptopConnect cards | AT&T wireless service

I use a broadband internet card when I travel. Mine hapens to be with AT&T but other providers have them as well. I think right now you can get the card for free with a 2 year contract.

Does your computer work just as fast with that card as it did with dsl???? I checked at&t and it looked like a good deal i can disconnect my land line as all i use it for is internet and for less than i am paying now i can tahe my computer anywhere i go, can you comment on that thank you
