Spring Break -- plans?

Our Spring Break is for one week -- this week. We are not travelling, we are staying at home.

Doing dentist, eye doctor, etc. The kids asked why I didn't make the appointments on school days. Ha ha.

We plan on hitting the arcade, maybe bowling, and having a few friends over but a LOT of relaxing and NO HOMEWORK!

What are your plans?

Our spring break is late this year Doesn't start until April 7th. We are staying home for the first time in a long time. We are going to go to CA for vacation on April 19th for a week. It will be the first time we are taking the kids out of school to go on vacation...

Our spring break starts this Friday and continues all next week. We are planning on going to the Circus, relaxing, sleeping in, relaxing so more, go to the beach before the tourist show up in April, relaxing, finish painting the main level, relaxing, and whatever we like.

We have spring break this whole week. We are staying home and getting a few things done the first two days and then heading to the NCAA 1st and 2nd rounds. I plan on doing a little bit of shopping also.

Ours is April 7 also.. unless something major happens, we're going to Vermont! We're figuring about $700 in gas for this trip Last time we were up there, I was pregnant with the child that turned 7 yesterday.

Our spring break is this week. It's cloudy and overcast this morning with possible storms predicted for this afternoon, evening and positively storms tomorrow.
Wednesday will be all day shopping for 14 yr old DD, DS will stay home.
Thursday will be dress shoe shopping for DS. Please keep us in your thoughts for this. DS started wearing mens sizes last year and this is the first mens size dress shoes. DS wears a B width shoe. Not cheap and being the first time to buy narrow dress shoes I'm not sure how hard or easy to find.
DH is off Friday and we're driving about 75 mi. to a drive through safari with petting zoo. The petting zoo has babies as I've already checked the website. A couple of years ago we got to hold bear and tiger cubs. We're looking forward to our little jaunt. We'll also eat out and shop.

Our break begins on Good Friday, and we are also staying home. Let's see...we're running in the Crescent City Classic on Saturday, having Easter with Jason and the grandkids on Sunday, going shopping/doing lunch on Monday, seeing "Horton Hears A Who" with my class (we're meeting at the movies) on Tuesday, taking pictures with the grandkids and the horses on the lakefront on Wednesday...and then just goofing around the rest of the time! I'm looking forward to just working in the yard, hanging out at the pool, etc...

Our spring break is this week too. Saturday we went shopping, to an Easter egg hunt and pitching practice, Sunday was church, then DD's pitching practice. Today we were going to a college softball game, but it got rained out, so we went shopping and to the library instead. Tomorrow out for ice cream, tomorrow night softball practice, then Wednesday to the game that was supposed to be today then after that pitching lessons. Thursday not sure, but if DD has anything to say it will involve a softball field, LOL. Saturday an Easter egg hunt. This weekend we have a CBA (Continental Basketball Association - Oklahoma Cavalry) playoff game to go to not sure what day yet because the team we will play is still in their series and won't be finished until Thursday. So the playoff games won't be scheduled until then. And some more days of softball practice that the coach hasn't yet scheduled. Then a trip to the movie "College Road Trip". Sunday will be church and an Easter egg hunt at church.

Ours starts March 31st. The only plans I have is to NOT to chemo. I'm taking a break. I'm hoping to have some energy to do something with the kids. Zoo, movie, etc.

Ours is next week.

My dh is taking two of our boys (oldest and youngest) to the Buffalo National River in Arkansas for a week of fun. They rented a cabin on the Little Buffalo and are planning on fishing, canoeing and exploring.

Me....I am staying home and working in Wisconsin for my boss. But April 6th..I head for Lake Tahoe for the week. YAY!

My dh is taking me down to Charlotte, NC to a Keith Urban concert for Spring vacation. He gave me tickets to the concert for a Christmas Present. My brother and sister in law are also going to be going with us. We are making a four day mini vacation out of it. We are hoping for warm weather while we are there. It will be nice to escape the cold, wet New England weather.

My spring break is right now and I am working at my internship.

The boys go on spring break next week and we dont really have anything planned. We are going to bum around the house, they are going to have friends over and that is about it. They are just looking forward to the chance to slow down and relax a bit.

Ours is April 7th also. We are going to Savannah and jekyll island but for a much shorter time than we wanted. We can usually get hotels in Savanah for 35-45$ on priceline but not this year. With gas prices and everything so high we just can't do it for the whole week. We will have fun for the time we are there and it will be nice to have the rest of the time just to sit around the house and do fun family things together.

I'm in Fl. again with my kids!! WOOHOO!! Just got here yesterday, and today was beautiful. When I left MI yesterday, it was nasty. So glad to see some sun for a while. We are not doing too much, but plan on going to the zoo. I can't wait to take Faith there, she's at the age where she will get a big kick out of the animals. Too fun!!! Hopefully hubbies company will maybe find him a load down here so we can all be together for once. That would be so nice!

My kids just had spring break this past week. We didn't do a whole lot...no money to go anywhere. waahh!

We did a lot of relaxing, some shopping so DD could use her gift cards from her birthday, Chuck E. Cheese...we also spent a day with my brother & sis-in-law and their new baby.

I love having my kids home but I won't miss the bickering. lol DD is 10 & DS is 4 1/2. DD went to spend the night at grandma's last night to get a break.

Doing nothing. With the high price of gasoline, will find things to do in the immediate area. A movie, out to dinner, or a museum.

We just got back from there - we went to Disneyland and California Adventure Park. They were fun, but Disneyworld blows Disneyland away! Disneyland is so small compared to to Disneyworld! We didn't do the other ones. We'll have to catch them next time.

Our Spring Break starts April 7 too -- I wanted to go to the beach for a few days, but DH doesn't want to spend the money. I guess we're staying home (he'll be working). The kids and I will probably just hang out and not do much. My oldest loves to stay home and just hang out. I may arrange some playdates for my younger DS so my older DS & I can hang out just the two of us (he loves that).

Also, my in-laws close on their new house on April 7, so I imagine we'll be helping them move during the week.
