| Now I Really HAVE Seen It ALL Boyfriend: Phobia caused woman's 2-year bathroom stay - CNN.com For once I am rendered speechless. Woman stays in bathroom for two years. excerpt "The case drew nationwide attention after Ness County Sheriff Bryan Whipple said it appeared the Ness City woman's skin had grown around the seat in the two years she apparently was in the bathroom."

It's a very weird story. The part that gave me a giggle was when the boyfriend said other then her living in his bathroom they had a relative normal relationship. Sounds like she isn't the only one that needs mental help!

What did she do for entertainment?  How boring that would be !!! I can't imagine just sitting on a toilet for 2 years doing absolutely NOTHING??!! She had to have sat on that toilet for a loooong time to have become part of the fixture.Was she obese and had difficulty in moving or something?They didn't mention that.I just can't imagine how anyone could just sit on a toilet day after day after day after day doing .......what???  |

I don't buy the boyfriends story for even a second. The neighbor said he hadn't seen her in at least 6 yrs. If she was stuck to the toilet seat, damage to her legs to the point she may be in a wheelchair doesn't mean she moved around, and changed clothes. Damage like that would take a considerable time to happen. The boyfriend needs help also.

According to the news (this aired last week) she was afraid to see her relatives, that's the reason she wouldn't come out of the bathroom. Her boyfriend claimed he asked her every day to come out and she kept telling him 'maybe tomorrow'. The paramedics had to take the seat off the toilet to get her out of there and the hospital had to remove the toilet seat from her. Gives me the shivers.....

Even if she insisted on staying in the bathroom, wouldn't she stand up now and then? I mean she'd have to sit without shifting at all for her skin to grow over the seat. That had to be painful. I'm wondering if the boyfriend had her tied down somehow.
