I don't think I would. I look like a regular "mom" but not dumpy or doudy. I see ladies in sweats and old tshirts at the grocery store. I would think they would be MUCH more apt to choose one of them over me in jeans and a shirt

I agree with Smurf. In fact, I have recently changed some of my fashion habits and look much, much better than before. I pointed out to DD yesterday while watching What Not to Wear, that no one ever gets to wear a pair of lace up shoes of any kind. It always has to be flats, boots or dressy shoes. My dogs would be worse than barking if I didn't wear my Skechers. I love the show. |

They'd put me UNDER the jail

No, I'm a jeans and tee person as well for everyday BUT when I do *want* to dress up, I do so fashionably and nicely. Even if I got a makeover, I'd probably revert back to my comfies and sneakers on the 'off' days. I also wouldn't want to give up my old clothing which is a BIG part of the What Not to Wear shows. It pains me the way they throw away every piece of clothing that people own. To me, that part alone would make it not worth it to me (or I'd move a whole lot of my clothes to a friend's house before they came over!). |

I wish they would pick me. I wear jeans and sweaters everyday (except Sunday) and I'm tired of it. My wardrobe is tired. I don't go out in sweats, though. To me, they seem too much like pajamas. It doesn't bother me when other people wear sweats, it's just not my style.

Well everyone has room for improvement and I would love a stylist to take me away on a shopping spree I look darn good for my age and I see women who look horrendous so I am sure they would pick the shlumpadinkas. They wouldn't pick me.

I could easily be 'arrested' but they wouldn't keep me for long! I would tell her that until she does something about her nose, she shouldn't be telling others how they should look!

I have a feeling they would take pretty much anyone and everyone! As much as I do like watching the show, they have a very cookie-cutter approach to things. While their *rules* are going to be great for most women, I have seen a few episodes where they just totally missed the boat and ignored the woman and/or her lifestyle. The woman who hung out with her friends at biker bars is just *not* going to show up at said biker bar wearing the nice pair of khaki trousers and pointed toe shoes they had her buy, you know? I'll bet you anything that woman is back to wearing purple leopard print pants and tops - they just weren't realistic enough with her new wardrobe. As enticing as the idea of a new $5000 wardrobe is, I would hate to go on the show and be forced to buy pairs of "nice, wide-legged trousers and jeans" since I only wear skirts and I'm sure they would find that unacceptable (actually, whatever the person happens to prefer to wear seems to be unacceptable to them) plus it would mean watching them throw away my Doc Marten boots and shoes I do imagine Stacy and Clinton would have a great time making fun of my clostet with the 17 black skirts hanging in it (I pretty much only wear black :-)The show I *would* like to go on is "10 Years Younger" so I could get veneers put on my teeth and have lasix surgery. Now THAT would be cool |

I tend to wear practical shoes. I could probably run if I needed to. When I'm not pregnant, I might not mind. Right now, with only jeans and awful capri pants available to me, I figure I should get a pass. |

![]() They'd throw me under the jail with Jaded. I usually wear jeans, t shirts and sneakers, but there's nothing really nice about them. I really do need to take more care in what I wear, but I don't spend money on me.

I usually wear nice jeans or black pants. I'd do OK but not great. I always wear some makeup and don't leave the house until I shower. My girls could use a new bra but I can't find one I like. Too much information........... Annadrose, you kinda look like Peggy Hill to me. You need some new glasses, and let's get rid of the shorts with the belt look too. Heehee Maybe a new hairdo too!!

Probably not. I wear dressy jeans/nice top when I go out with heels, complete with big earrings. I have a youthful haircut and highlights. I feel like I don't get to 'dress up' much, so I make the most of it when I can. On the other hand, at home I also don't look like a slouch. I shower, do my hair and makeup every morning even if I'm not going anywhere. I'll wear jeans and a top at home. I feel much better looking nice, plus I want to look nice for DH. And you never know who is going to stop by the house during the day. |
