yall PLEEEZE explain this to me!

im temporarily living in what used to be a hotel room, but they rent these out now as efficiency apartments, and the lady upstairs, who is from India (not that it matters, but anytime i complain about what she does thats the first thing out of the managers mouth lol) constantly has her water running! none of us pay the water or electricity bill here.

at first they say her excuse was the carpet in her room/apartment had a foul odor which cant be true because the carpet is brand new

now her excuse is theres a sewer smell in the bathroom, and thats why she runs practically all the time it seems, and yes i have timed her now and again, and last night she had it running from 7 p.m. until 8:45 p.m!!

and i bet the only reason she turned it off at that time was because the manager called her and told her to!

so heres my question:

what in the bloody blazes is her problem???????

can anybody explain to me the logic of running up somebody elses water bill?? if theres an odor, BATHE YOURSELF because more than likely thats where the odor is coming from lol

if it really is coming through the bathroom vent, COVER THE VENT thats what i did when i realize cigarette smoke was coming through it.

what is wrong with that woman???

Sounds to me that she could have some mental problems.
The running water is up to the owner to stop, unless it is a big problem for you.
If it is, call the owner every time she does it (or anything else weird).

hmph it just so happens shes the owners friend lol

she was complaining to the owner via the phone about the carpet having a bad odor to it, so the manager called herself on the sly coming to MY room to see if i was emitting any odors lolol which of course im not because as i said all the carpets are new including the carpet in the Indian lady's room.

her room/apt is not actually over my room anyways; its over the heavy smoker's room next door but hes not the only one who smokes because the fumes that were coming out of my bathroom vent started way before he moved in, so im thinking yeah shes off her medication lol
