I have to have a gag gift for our dance on April Fool's Day.
I can't think of a thing right now but I knew who to ask for help!
It shouldn't cost more than $10 and should be somewhat useful.
This is for a square dance and most of us are "older" but very alive and kicking!
I don't want anything gross or way off color.
HELP!!!

How about some Geritol or something like that meant for "old" people? Or maybe since it's April Fool's Day something that looks like something else for example it looks like it would be one thing and really is another. For some reason I can't think of any specific examples maybe like it looks like a shoe but it's really a remote control holder or something like that.

How about an unusual hat, like a Dr. Seuss hat. or an over-decorated spring ladies' hat that you decorate yourself? If you decorate it yourself, you could really tailor it to be pretty, as well as tacky (like with artificial flowers, as well as well-placed tea bags and maybe some artificial birds.

Sounds like a fun party. Tell us what everyone else does!

Well then I think doing a really interesting decorative hat for the winner to wear would be fun! You can even tuck a few scratch lottery tickets into it - then it will function as a gift as well as a sort of unusual trophy.

What do you think?

Get a really nice cake stand w/ cover (not see through!) and make a lemon sponge cake: Several sponges hot glued together w/ some plastic lemons glued on top and/or around it.

Or make a litter box cake (I'm sure if you google it you'll find the recipe).

We got my parents a giant remote contol for Christmas-its probably about 18in. long and 8in. wide. I got it @the Five Below store for $5. They cracked up when they received it-one of them was always losing the smaller remotes.

If you have a spencers look in there. They usually have gag gifts. Have fun.
