Decide what you best feature is, then accentuate it. Whether it's your lips, hair, legs , whatever, just play it up. Also a ready smile makes anyone look better!!

Ballman, you're right!

My two: When rinsing conditioner out, make sure you thoroughly rinse the head/scalp area, but try NOT to rinse away every trace of conditioner at the ends. Having very long hair, these are my words to live by!

Also - use clear mascara to groom eyebrows. It doesn't sound like brushing eyebrows with clear mascara would make much of an impact, but it looks so nice! I think it gives my eyes/face a lift (in early 40's - I'll take any 'natural' lift that comes down the pike! LOL)

Drink lots of water.
Exercise (preferably outdoors!)
Moisturize.
Use sunscreen from head to toe.

All sound like common sense but so much of beauty comes from the inside.

My sweet little niece that is 17 told me that it looks better on an *old* person if the laugh lines are deeper than the frown/worry lines... I love that!

Don't overdue the make up.......less is more.

I used to see cosmetics, and some of the woman that came in........OMG.

Also, don't be so hard on yourself......I know....MUCH easier said than done.

I truly believe every woman is beautiful, in her own way. Sometimes they just need a little helping to get that beauty to shine.

Apply makwup using a brush. Not the one that comes in a blush package, either, but a decent quality, full size one. Everything will look more natural, and blend better. This is from a very sweetly pretty friend, who has sensitive skin, and uses posh makeup and brushes. I mostly use the Essence of Beauty brushes from CVS, and can get equally good results with cheap or expensive powder makeup (eyeshadow, blush, that sort of thing), and lip gloss. Also, wash the brushes sometimes. You just need to use a bit of hand soap.

One of the best I ever recieved was to use blue mascara when your eyes are looking a bit tired. It really makes the whites of your eyes brighter...although it is hard to find.

Another one is to use VISINE to make the pores on your cheeks smaller.

Heat up your eye lash curler with your blow dryer before curling your lashes!

Yowza! Works great!

Go over your eyeliner pencil with a small brush dipped in the same color powder. No smudges or raccoon eyes!

These are my own beauty tip I discovered myself.Use calamine lotion for small breakouts. It heals it up much faster then those acne medicines that usually dry out and irritate the skin which can inflame breakouts even more.
Use a strong solution of green tea or regular tea to touchup any gray areas in your hair. The stain lasts a long time and is much cheaper than dye.It is also makes hair stronger, and gives it lots of body.Great for holding styles too.

My best beauty tip was to eat natural wholesome foods with no preservatives or colors. That junk wreaks havoc with your skin and body in so many ways. And along those saem lines only use olive oil no nasty kinds of oils or that crisco crap. That keeps the skin in my family beautiful. My Mom is in here 70s and has beautiful skin.
