I'm so excited and so nervous for the game Saturday I can hardly stand it. I hope you're right and this is the year! It would make a nice 20 year anniversary gift!!!

I was actually pulling for Davidson during the Elite 8 -- they played a great game against KS . Davidson is a young team, so I bet we'll see them do some good things next season.

From a Kansas native (K-State country) who has now migrated to the Carolinas, I have to root for the Jayhawks in the final four!

Congrats!!! That was the most edge of your chair game I have EVER seen!!! My hubby said they wouldn't do it but boy was he ever wrong!!! Self did an amazing job as did the players! They had lots of tragedy and hardships that seemed to pull them together and they performed like naturals.

Please explain the rock chalk jayhawk for me. I have heard it over and over and don't get it. What a great game.

It was made up years ago. It's referring to the limestone on and around campus and it rhymes with Jayhawk. Several buildings are made from limestone, which is very soft. It's the type of rock you can write with like chalk. When you hear the audience chanting it, it's awesome. Here's the story, told probably better than I described it.

IT's too bad Memphis didn't make their free throws. I was happy for Kansas though. And I'm glad Coach Williams was there to support the Jayhawks. U must remember he has a 15 yr history with them. So what Jayhawks are going Pro?

I do remember he has a 15 year history! And a 5 year backlash!!! I was a senior in '88 when we won it the last time!

Brandon Rush will go pro for sure - he was going last year (with Julian Wright) and then injured his knee - guess it worked out well for him afterall! Also, I think Arthur, Chalmers & Collins.

Wow - if they'd stay - with the new recruits and the way Aldrich played against NC - and he's only a freshman - we'd have a real shot at a Championship repeat!!

OK OK OK---- We felt it was gonna happen..... A local news station here in Wichita will be doing a live video on their website at 4:30 today. Bill Self met with the AD of KU and now he will make his "BIG" announcement as to wether or not he will stay at KU. Boy oh boy what drama! He better stay or I think alot of fans will start having the smae "Roy Williams" attitude towards him.

Let's keep our fingers crossed!!!

The news conference just ended. He said he is staying "for many years to come!" Yeah!!! Now that drama is over. I hate drama!
