Doesn't This Look Kind of Like a KKK Outfit?

Okay I love God but this is going too far and it looks like a KKK outfit to me.

I can see the KKK in the look.

The whole outfit is a bit much but...........I guess it helps some families.
It's different.

No, not in the least. KKK wear hoods that cover the head and a type of robe.

Yes, it does. I almost expect to see a cross burning in the background.

I think we'll stick with JCPenney or Old Navy PJ's! LOL.

Satin... roman gladiator... maybe not KKK (with covered face) but definitely not 'child' garb.

Nah.

Actually the KKK robes were based on the robes worn by the inquisitors during the Spanish Inquisition.I was in Spain during Easter week a few yearas ago and I saw all these KKK figures on cakes and in candy stores which turned out to be a celebration of the Inquisition..***sigh**

Actually, the burning crosses are sold separately. It just seems a bit too much like something you'd see on the Landover Baptist site.

I guess I'm a trouble maker because I emailed the company and pointed out they look like KKK garb. I innocently asked if that was their intent and I wonder what they will say. I wonder if they will freak out or if they already know. I will let you know what they say when I receive a response.

Once again this goes back to peoples OPINIONS of things and being able to freely express them...
And once again people come out calling people names...
Amazing that there can not even be a discussion about pajamas here....

"Well Ok then! If your husband says it, it must be true. Is he the leading authority on everything or does he only specialize in pajamas? lol" I didnt take that as being mean or harsh and Carrie handled her reply very nicely. IT SHOULD HAVE STOPPED THERE....but instead the name calling had to start....UNreal

I would never have looked at that and thought KKK.

And just as a PSA, there is an "ignore poster" option.

I guess I can see what you are saying. My husband would like for me to think that everything he says is correct! Thanks for the clarification.

You didn't offend me. I thought it was funny. If you read the entire thread, you'll see what I mean. You didn't give any details in your original reply. You simply said "Ok my husband says that it does".

When that's all you say, it sounds like well, my husband says it does and that settles the matter - end of discussion. He has spoken. It just struck me as funny. Sorry for offending you!

Opal,
I got the same impression... Like if her husband says it does then that is it.. End of converstaion...
BUT in neither case did I think either of you were being nasty to the other one...
And I sure as heck do not think you are a troll....

I guess I'll never know how I really feel about these pj's since I think knowing others' opinions has influenced me.

I think it's a little sad that the kids need to feel protected to have a peaceful night's sleep.

On the other hand, I think the outfit sort of looks like a superhero, or someone from Spamalot...LOL

I don't think the KKK image would have crossed my mind, but now that it has, it's hard NOT to see it that way.

And I think Annadrose did a good thing by letting the company know how she feels. Companies love feedback - all kinds.

And as usual, we get all kinds here...

Ladies and gents - I had previously closed this thread because it was going in a downward spiral due to some trash-talking. However, it has been brought to my attention that closing the thread was pre-mature. I went ahead and deleted the posts that were going off-track and starting to cause a ruckus.

Please feel free to cont. the discussion in a lady-like or gentlemanly manner. Remember everyone should be entitled to state their opinion without fear of harassment.

Yeah, I think they're cute, too.

I don' t see the KKK resemblance, myself. I wouldn't buy them because my kids are into that type of PJs, and I hate that shiny material....you can never keep them folded.

I hate the shiny/satiny stuff for pajamas because it always seems to be sliding up or down on you when you're sleeping. You wake up and it's all twisted and scrunched up...

They would be better used as Halloween costumes than PJ's IMO.
