Today was the first April Fools Day in probably ten years that I got the kids, before they got me.........we usually just do silly little things.

Do you like April Fools Day? Do you usually get tricked? or are you the one getting others?

I don't do anything anymore. I actually thought about doing some of the funny food for dinner tonight, but DH is out of town. The girls would like it, but I'm not going to.

Youngest DD is totally into it. First, she put oldest DDs bra in the freezer. Then she took her "fart machine" to school. She's in 5th grade. She planned to leave it in her backpack and wait until class quited down for the morning, then she was going to hit the remote. I can't wait to pick her up tonight. I would have never had the guts to do that when I was a kid. She's hilarious!

I treat it like any other day. I think the jokes are irritating. I stepped into a pie this morning and everybody thought it was funny. I was a good sport but I had to go in the restroom and waste time cleaning my brand new shoes and pantyhose so I didn't think it was so funny.

I love it! So far I got the boys and DH this morning, by stuffing their shoes with paper. Before they all get home I still have a few things to do. I'm going to remake their beds and short sheet them, tape the toilet paper were it won't unroll. For DH I'm going to cover the "eye" of the remote with black tape. he he he

I thought about taping bubble wrap to the bottom of their shoes. And putting kool aid in the showerhead. But the showerhead won't work because they all let the shower warm up before getting in.

After I got them this morning they got me. I had to run to walmart, I get up to the checkout to pay. Open my purse and I found all the paper I stuffed their shoes with in my purse. LOL The checkout lady thought it was hilarious.

I hate it! Due to my name. I used to get teased and jokes played on me and called April the fool. So yeah not a good day for me. Heck even to this day my co-workers and friends still think it is funny even though the know it makes me mad.

I treat it like any other day. My kids know better than to pull any "pranks". I am NOT a prank girl. There would be hell to pay if someone tried to "trick me" when they know I hate it

It would really depend on what it is, I think. I don't think I've ever participated in any pranks on April Fools...and I'm not even sure it's been done to me. I think silly little things like paper in the shoes would be okay but nothing that's going to really embarrass someone in front of others, especially at work.
My 4yo son "fooled" me this morning by pointing at the ceiling and saying "Ahhh! A spider!" lol
