I got my DAYTONA 500 2009 tickets this weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We got our renewal notice on Friday and paid for them before the envelope hit the trash!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

That's great We get tickets to the spring and fall races at Talladega Superspeedway every year for Christmas. Since my mother and stepfather live 30 miles from the track all it cost us is gas money to get there.

Waaaaa -I wanna go to a Nascar race - but dh says you can see more on tv and won't even consider it. Oh well he is probably right - but don't tell him that.

The smell, fumes and noise is what I love! Its nothing but one big redneck party !
I think it much better to be at the races, listening to the drivers etc....
I will watch on tv, but I am not glued to the screen

We start tailgating about 6am. make breakfast, drink, eat, drink, shop....... eat, drink..... all day then get ready for the race. Get back to the hotel about 10.00 pm, in bed around 1am. UP again at 5am.

We go to Bristol two times a year and some other ones along the way.. I think in a few weeks we are going to the trucks races, they are about one hour from our house! we can take all the kids to that one. Our Bristol races, no kids allowed.

When we go to Bristol in August, I am do the Kyle Petty riding experience. I cant wait!

True, you can see more on TV but it's the whole entire atmosphere that brings everything to life!! You should go to at least one live NASCAR race. Then you'll understand what we mean!!

We went to the Martinsville race last year and our seats were right in front of Tony Stewart's pit!! It was awesome! Got some great pics!!

I have to agree with Brenda on this one.. There is nothing like going to a race...
I HATED racing until 4 years ago. We got tickets through Dodge and went to the Brickyard... WHAT an experience is all I can say!! I have been a fan ever since.. Reading and learning everything there is to know about racing!
Turst me momof2, I will!!
I have a patient who works for Good Year and I already have my order in for Pit Passes and the GoodYear VIP lounges!!!
CANT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
