I've noticed in a couple recent posts people mentioned not having insurance and it reminded me about the different programs all the states have to cover mammograms, and yearly exams for women.
Each state is different, some cover paps starting at 18 (a couple are under 18 if sexually active) some don't cover then until 35, 40 or 50. Mammograms also start at different ages. Income levels are different, but I seen several that were 250% of the poverty level ($53,000/yr family of 4). Some you can have insurance and still be eligible for the program if your insurance has high co-pay or deductibles, or doesn't cover well checks.
