This is just an update. I checked for updates on him just a minute ago and found out that he passed away at 11:37 am this morning. I just thought everyone would like to know. So sad.

Very very sad for the family...probably best for him.

Who knows what toll the disease AND the testing AND the treatment was taking on that poor little guy's body?

I'v been reading the updates every day and my heart is so broken for this family right now. Ben and Becky are wonderful strong people, but they so need your prayers still. Please pray for them as they get through this. I have been in shock all day since hearing this news.

Does this child's family live in your area? I've never heard about him until someone posted another thread just today.

So sorry for their loss... The poor little guy is no longer in pain. The parents will have a long road of healing ahead. I can not imagine going through that.

I went to the site and read about that little angel, and feel sick now. They also have a link on the site to another angel at St. Judes, named Sully. To me, that is just unimagineable. They looked so precious, and healthy. Chubby little cherubs. Scares the crap out of me worrying about my little man. Everyone needs to majorly pray for these parents.

Just got home from spring break and Ethan Powell's site was one of the first I checked... in a bit of shock here.. I knew he wasn't doing too well when we left last Friday but I sure didn't expect things to go downhill so fast

It was about this time last year that someone posted about Trevor Kott. I think he passed on April 25th? Shortly before the "Thanks Mom" bone marrow donor drives.

I made the mistake last night of going to Ethan's list of "friends" and lokking them up. We just don't realize on a daily basis how blessed we are to have our healthy precious babies!! It's so upsetting, but once you start reading them it's like you can't stop. I am a Registered Nurse, but I couldn't do this with babies, it's just too gut wrenching.
