Ok - here goes - I think you are a lady in your mid 50's - average weight, not over weight - very grandma-like in personallity. I got this impression from reading your past posts. Am I close?

I feel the same way, and from reading her posts. Also, your avatar sets an image in my mind. I know it's just an avatar, but, still.

Speaking of avatars, I'd love to change the visual in my mind of Vorhlack (sp???).

You are the size of a child! I've read in the past that you are really tiny... haven't I? Are you in your 60's? I know that you wear those huge frilly square dance skirts. You are a happy person with a skip to your step. You have a sweet hubby that you have been happily married to for many years. He takes good care of you...

Side note -- our family love to go watch square dancing in the park on Saturday evenings. We don't do it, but our whole family loves to watch.

Okay, I went beyond the avatar!!! How'd I do?

I am almst 63.
I DO have a great hubby!!!
I hope I am grandmotherly, as it is my favlorite role in life!
I do square dance and I do wear frilly skrts.

Linnybop, I think you are petite, have very fair skin, and big blue eyes. You probably don't have any frown lines, because you always seem so upbeat! I think you wear jeans a lot - not dressup clothes so much. I don't know why I think you're more casual. You're very pretty.

And, by the way, jm19 - I thought you had short "salt and pepper" hair with big roller curls. It's surprising to me to know that your hair is longer - I have to adjust my image now! LOL. And I always thought of you as grandmotherly, but you present as a young grandma.

This is fun!

Ok ,Linnybop, here goes - You love to cook and you're good at it - on the other hand you love to go out to eat - You are frugal - You put your kids first - I see you as having light brown hair, sort of a bob-cut, and glasses, I'd say you are in your late 30's early 40's and you are average size. Oh, and you have a GREAT sense of humor.

I'm getting this mostly from your name...............

You are tall, thin and have long legs.
You have blonde /brown hair, kinda just past your shoulders.
You are playful and fun with a great sense of humor.

Linny......I think you are around 5'7'' brown hair medium length, about size 14-16, huge smile on your face, hazel eyes, hour glass shape, wear minimum make-up, and I think you have very fair skin with gorgeous completion.

Wow-this is cool. You guys are real close. I am 5'9", and about 165lbs.-could definitely stand to lose a few! I don't have hair right now, but the fuzz on my head looks really dark so far. DH says it has a reddish tint. Before I had it shaved, I had a blonde bob cut. I am really fair-skinned, and have hazel eyes. My usual attire is my Gap boot cut jeans and a sweater, but I do enjoy dressing up if I have a reason. I make sure to put on makeup before I leave the house (especially w/ my new hair-do-lol...) I am 38 w/ plenty of frown lines! No glasses though (yet). I really enjoy being in the kitchen, and am a pretty decent cook, but yes, I do love eating out as well-especially Italian or Japanese. DH and I try to go out once a week for dinner as our date-night. Other than that, I am extremely frugal-but not cheap! You guys are good. Who's next???

Here is how I see Polve - For some reason I see you as very studious, like you like to play scrabble or games like that (don't know why I think that) - I see you tall with med to long hair, light brown - I think you look good (weight-wise) but you don't think so. I also think you would not leave the house in sweat pants. I think you are in your late 30's.

This is fun - I usually get an image of a person and over the months of reading posts, their picture in my mind becomes more defined, but I cannot remember a specific post that would make me think the things I do, it just kind of evolves.

I see you as rather reserved but not without a bit of a sense of humor.
You are knd hearted and helpful to others.
You are medium height and weight and have med/dark brown hair that is fairly short but not real short.

OK I'll take a shot at this.

I see Polve as tall, weight proportionate and fit. I think she has dark hair that is a shoulder length bob that is usually very tidy. I believe she lives in or around Chicago and is very "common sense" oriented. Who likes shoes just a little more than is good for her.

This is a fun thread. I do get a mental image of the posters when I read the threads. And it's good to find out how close my image is to the real thing.

I think you are about the same size as me-tall and normal weight. I think you are a VERY organized person (maybe a bit too organized at times). I also feel you are very kind-hearted, and take a lot of social issues to heart. I also think you are a very giving person-one who is always looking out for the underdog. I also think you are very smart and like to stay on top of things. I am picturing shoulder length brown hair, neatly styled, and you are a very cool dresser.

It is amazing how close and on target so many of you are. First off I am extremely tall I am 5'11', I have very long hair (waist length) straight and light brown. I am extremely fair skin, and think of myself thick but not overweight at 173lb. I would NEVER leave the house with sweatpants on, I apply basic make-up everyday even if I don't leave the house and love being a girlie girl! I play literati (form of Scrabble) on Yahoo almost everyday...and have an extremely high ranking I am in my 30's and do volunteer my time to varies causes that touch my heart. I was born and raised in Chicago, but due to marrying an Army man haven't lived there for many years. I don't consider myself organized, but everyone I know does....so I don't know what that says.

So who is next????

It's fun and amazing how well people can get a real feel from you, just by you posting on a website!

hmmm, cashchik...I see you as about 5'3" or so. I think you have shoulder-length hair, Dark Blonde with maybe some gray starting to show. (I think a remember you saying you were in your 50s somewhere) You are comfortable in your plumpness. You leave your work at work, when you come home it's family and pet(s). You are genuinely a happy person. And you enjoy Country music, but you love your Old-School Rock.

Cashchik......I think you are around 5'5'' with short blond hair. I think you wear glasses, and look young for your age. I think you have real thin legs but hold extra weight around the waist. I think you have medium skin tone, and do not like to tan. I also think you are into crafts and give great gifts.

Both of you have some points that are close and I really like the phrase "Comfortable in your plumpness" I think I will start using that.

I am 5'6" and a plus size but even my Dr. is surprised at how fit I am for my size. I have shoulder length hair that is brown with "natural" caramel highlights that I have added about every 10 weeks. And according to the gal that does my hair she hasn't seen any greys yet. But I think that is just good genes.
My style is casual but I can dress up if the occassion calls for it. I like good quality clothes but they don't have to be on the cutting edge of trendy.
Polve is correct about the don't like to tan and the glasses but only to read. The craft thing not so much but I am pretty handy at building and repairing things around the house. Except for electrical because it scares the bejeebers out of me.

DNJ is correct that I am a truly happy person. My sweetie is always amazed at the people that will come up and talk to me when we are out in public. I think I have one of those faces that people like to talk to.
I am very quick to smile and laugh.

I love my job but when the whistle blows I look like Fred Flintstone at quitting time. And yes I have very ecclectic music tastes but always come back to Old Time Rock and Roll.

Ok folks, move along to the next person. Who's it going to be? Cuthie maybe??

Brenda - It's hard to picture you, you keep your private life pretty close-to-the-vest. I think you are in your mid to late 50s maybe into your 60s (I say that because the kindest people I know are in that age group) I bet you're a fun grandma (assuming you have grand kids). You have a HUGE heart and would give the shirt off your back to anyone who asks for it. You also always have a kind word for everyone. You love a good news story and of course NASCAR...duh!

You know sometimes someone will say some thing like, Polve I think mentioned before that she always wears a little makeup everyday - so immediately I can tell that she is the type of person who would not run out to wal-mart in sweats. But, you, Brenda, I never remember you mentioning anything about your likes or dislikes in clothes, food, lifestyles. Makes it hard for me to picture you.

Like dnj I am having a hard time getting a metal picture of Brenda.
But the "feeling" I get from reading her posts is that she is early to mid 30's, a very Positive person and the original mama bear.
I think her family is top prioity.
I think when people say "We should get together sometime" she is the one that sees that they do.
And I think she makes a great friend.

How'd I do??

LOL I love this: I have short light brown hair, I'm 5'10", weight is 135, I'm 48 years old and yes my family is the most important thing in my life. My avatar is of my grandchildren, Taylor 4 and Alicia 2 and they keep me very active and young!! I think I make a great friend and I am the type of person that loves animals and old people. Nascar and basketball are my favorite sports!! I also love being outdoors and camping.

Oh, I feel like I know too much - Cuthie is like the old friend that I never met!

But I'll try to go beyond what I think I know, virtually speaking...

I think you're incredibly patient based on your past careers working with little children and training horses and being a mom to boys!

I think one of your best personal traits is that you have the ability to put yourself in the shoes of just about anyone here (and probably in your life).

I think you make lemons out of lemonade

I think you're a very smart shopper!

I don't think you are at all sarcastic, but you have a dry sense of humor - probably not always fully appreciated (or understood) by those around you

Based on the posts that you respond to, I'd say one of your personal policies is "if you have nothing nice to say, then say nothing at all"

I like devinmom's description but personalitywise I would add that I think Cuthie is curious. I think she likes to know the whats and whys.
As for a physical description for some reason I see you as 5'7" with an athletic build. Maybe short brown hair and glasses. Age I am not sure of.
I think you are a natural beauty that doesn't care for the fru-fru. And I think she is tenderhearted with a love of kids and strays.

Very good... and so sweet too! You girls know me better than I thought you would. Thank you to those who posted.

Personality-wise, I'm patient, silly, organized, frugal, and empathetic... this according to my husband and not necessarily in that order!.

I think that what I am known for is that I am one of those people who is caretaker? mommy? teacher? because I'm also quite firm and will not tolerate most misbehavior if I feel that a person or animal knows better! I am not sure if this is a good or a bad trait about myself???

Physically, I am 5'8" and a somewhat athletic (but fluffy, to me!) build. My upper body is as strong as many men that I know! I have no idea my weight but I wear a size 12. I have shoulder length brown hair... actually the box says 'light golden brown'

Yes, my picture is on my home page!!

That's enough about me... someone else?!

I'm going to try!

When people don't have a picture on their homepage, I definitely come up with an image of what they look like!

I usually think of ballmom as probably late thirties...just below the shoulder-length hair, takes good care of herself, pretty! Probaby dresses very nicely by finding the best deals at the really good clothing stores.

What I KNOW is that Ballmom is into cooking and takes pride caring for the beautiful family she has.

Finally, she has likely figured out that she is stronger than she ever knew! She doesn't tend to look for sympathy here when things are hard, but encouragement. And she is extremely compassionate toward others.

Oh Ballmom - you crazy girl, you gave yourself away with the post on High maintenance.... LINKY

But you also like BigMacs and you almost had your kids "out the door" and then had your baby which I think made you ecstatic! Good for you, I wish I had done that, now I'm getting ready for empty nest syndrome.

Wow Devinmom! You are good for a persons ego!! I have auburn hair that is a little longer than below my shoulders. I do like to dress nice, but whatever I am wearing was definantly bought on super clearance! And yes, Dnj51, I pretty much gave myself away on the maintenance post! I left out the fact that I STILL haven't lost the "baby weight", and the "baby" is now 18 months old! But as fate would have it, I love to cook , and love to eat! So go figure!! Thanks chickies for being so sweet!!!

Really close, and flattering! I will be 41 this October! Isn't it funny how you think of yourself as younger? Running after my little boy definantly reminds me that I am not what I used to be! But also he has brought so much life to our home. He is the light of my life!

I'm not sure if I've written enough posts or that anyone has ever paid attention to them, but if anyone feels they can then give me a whirl!
