Arrow What are we doing this weekend??

We are going out for Sushi with friends tonight. Tomorrow night my DH and I are going to see a friend's show. Ordinary People. On Saturday we are running errands. Sunday is Friends Day at church (a bit of a Quaker reunion). My Children's Church kids are doing skits and I am really looking forward to them.

What is everyone else doing?

We have no major plans but are looking on what is going around town. DSS is coming over for the weekend so I know at some point we are going to run to the outlet malls and buy him some spring/summer clothes. While we are there I am sure I can find something for me and maybe I'll be nice and get something for DS and DH.

They are projecting it to be in 70's all weekend, so hopefully we can find something to do outside.

Not a whole lot planned for this weekend. DS is supposed to have a soccer game tomorrow night, if the weather holds. I am hoping to do a little cleaning, since I was sick, and things always get way out of hand when that happens!!
I may go to the movies on Saturday with the kids, not sure yet. Sunday is church but nothing else planned at this point.
After this weekend, my Saturdays will pretty much be Soccer Soccer and more soccer until the end of May.

Sounds heavenly to me! We don't have a whole lot of plans. Plus the car just went back in the shop AGAIN, so we'll be broke AGAIN, so probably mostly just stay home. On the plus side, I do have a Homemade Gourmet show booked tomorrow night, so hopefully I can earn some big bucks-that will help. DS#2 has a baseball game tomorrow eve, which will be fun for him since we have had three rain-outs this week. We also need to get some yardwork done-my front beds look horrible

There's the Long Island Quilt show (in Freeport) this weekend. I am so looking forward to going (they only have it once every 2 years). Many of my friends' quilts will be showing and I love looking at all the beautiful quilts.
Then there is lots and lots of clean up needed in the garden! It was 75 in NY today! and everything is just popping.

Tomorrow we are going to the library book sale that happens once a year. Then we have an appointment at the surgeons office, my 12 year old had to have an emergency appendectomy last Friday and she sees the surgeon for followup tomorrow and she is hoping he will say she can play softball. Then out to lunch. Tomorrow night softball practice. Saturday DH want to go to the booksale, so we will be going again, the dogs are getting a bath. Sunday church.

Friday night concert in Phoenix - Bon Jovi
Other than that not much planned. Cleaning house, preparing for my cake decorating class, and helping son finish English research paper.

Our days off fall midweek so we are just finishing up our weekend.

This weekend it has been yard work and doctors appointments.
I schedule my well woman check up, mammo and bloodwork for one weekend to get it all over with at one time.
Next weekend is the dentist for a check up and cleaning.
That should get it all out of the way for a while.

The school that I work at is celebrating its 60th anniversary. They are having an open house on Sat. On Sat. evening they are having a giant tent that is decorated for the adults with snacks and drinks. On Sunday, they will have a mass and then breakfast. I have to go to all of the events since I am a teacher and have been there for 20 years.

After work today come home and start on the flower beds. Hubby is mowing and bagging the back grass so i can heavy seed it. Since it has rained for days and its going to rain this weekend it should give the seed a good start. DS when he gets home from school baseball practice will mow the front yard. Sat . is sheet washing day and vacuum the house. sat night a bday party at a friends house. Thats it is far.

Well, let's see...tonight oldest dd has a girl scout meeting where they will be assembling the bird house kits dh and I cut out last weekend. We cut out 23 kits, 14 for her group, 8 for her troop leader's other group and 1 for our youngest dd. Dh and I are going along to help the girls (ages 8-9) put them together and then dh will stamp their initials or name on them. He stamped todays date on them already.
Tomorrow I don't know yet, dh has to work in the morning so I'll be cleaning the house while he's gone. (and it's supposed to rain thru Sunday so that right there puts a damper on anything outside) We may go to our friend's nursery to start picking out plants and stuff for our gardens, and then maybe take the girls out to eat. Sunday hopefully will be a quiet day, just to relax and play some board games with the girls.

Today just hung out and did a few things around the house. Tomorrow I am on call, hoping to goodness I don't get called in. Would love a quiet day at home! I'm sure we will play with the baby "outdide" as he says, hopefully plant some stuff, and do stuff around the house. It seems like it just never ends doesn't it? Once you get one thing done , another one pops up! Also hope to grill something good to eat tomorrow. Just seems like Sunday you have to grill!! Love it!!
