What is your favorite purse?Are you willing to pay retail for them?I've looked at coach on ebay but I'm just too tight to pay that kind of money for one.lol
Hopefully I'll get lucky and find something at a yard sale I really like.

I love Gucci's and Louis V's.
I'd consider paying retail just to insure I'm getting the real thing.

I bought a Gucci off eBay though (reputable seller + it's been authenticated) and am very very happy with it.

I love my new Prada handbag. I tried forever to get one on ebay, but just kept getting outbid. I found a site on the net that has designer bags for up to 80% off. I got my $900-1200 Prada for $234, and no shipping! My dh was shocked (to put it nicely ) that I paid $234 for a purse, but look at what I saved!

Depends on what I am doing.
I am all about function that looks nice. I have a rotation of about 4 or 5 bags that have different uses.

Daily to work/shopping is a mini tote black leather made by Maxxium got it at Sam's for about $65. It easily carries a travel cup/water bottle, paperback and small notebook.

Going to trade shows, sightseeing, swap meets or the like, I carry a sling/backpack made by Stone Mountain. It's easier to keep hands free and easy to carry when stuffed full. I got it on EBay for around $35. I believe it was NOS.

For traveling and vacation I carry a large leather tote from Eddie Bauer that can hold laptop and many other things along with a small purse or backpack for quick side trips. It was a gift but I believe they go for around $125.

I also have a Franklin Covey laptop bag that I use when I just need the 'puter to go to work with me. It will also hold a few misc. things. Got it on markdown at Sam's for $39.

And for the small I just need a debit card, lipstick and cell phone trips, I have a small Coach Hippie mini flap. Again it was a gift but I think they go for $125.

All my bags are leather and I do condition the leather on a regular basis, so I get a lot of miles out of them.
Coach bags are great bags but I do believe some of the price is because of name recognition. If that is important to you, the bag will last forever if you take care of it.

The Sak...I have 3 that I rotate. one mid size black one, one half moon smaller black one and one clutch light pastal one. All are a weave pattern and have near inside liner colors. They hold up well and I usually get tehm on sale for 30-40% off at Macy's a couple times a year.

I like SAK purses too. My current purse is by Kathy Von Zeeland. It's oversized to carry all my stuff. I like the little dangly hearts and charms that hang from the side of the bag. Brighton bags are very pretty but I don't want to pay $200 for a bag. Michael Kors has some nice leather bags but they sell for $200.

I am currently using a black Rosetti backpack purse.

I have many MAXX New York purses, many leather Dooney & Bourke purses, and a real leather Coach purse.

I love looking for handbags at yard sales!! I found some cute Kathy Van Zeeland at a yard sale last year and sold them for a pretty penny on ebay (they were too loud for me).

Please be careful on what your buying. I have all kinds of fake coach, prada
,LV purses and wallets. also fake tiffinay stuff and I can get it for 25 dollars a bag and 10 a wallet. I do buy these for friends and relatives because they ask me to. But I wont buy a real one because of this. My favorite bag is Lucky Jeans and they run around 148.00. So just want to say be careful out there. My 3 year old neice has a little black couch because its fake but no-one knows it. Nancy

Oh My GoSH My favorite subject in the whole wide world. PURSESSSSSSSSSSSSS....LOL...I am a vera bradley lover and have several but i recently bought a coach and love it but i know this is gonna sound crazy i feel like i am somehow betraying vera. silly i know...i love all purses...sak,roths,liz,coach,vera all of them.

I have a black liz that i got on clearance at dillard about 4 years ago and it still looks brand new and i still cary it in the winter...4years 9.99 what a deal..

ok i could go on and on and on....

OHH this is a great subjust I Just love Coach and have about 40 of them with wallets ,keyrings my ! year daughter has two already baby pink ones. MY dog has the collar and leash and so does my cat I'm so in love with Coach the only brand I will buy worth every penny. I could go on and on it just makes me so happy lol
