I need strength!!!

OK, so the this weekend thread got me deading this weekend again. Starting tommrow...bright and early I am taking 1 week where our family is not doing anything (no church, no errands - already stocked up etc.) I am not even driving DS to preschool - a friend is going to pick him up and drop him off...all for a the week from heck!

I hope to accomplish potty training DD #1. Weaning DD#1 and DD#2 from the bottle. Weaning DD#2 from formula and on to milk (she is turning 1). Moving DD #2 into DD#1's room (getting ready for the baby). Also during nap times I need to teach DS time and tying shoes.

WISH ME LUCK!

Sara :-)

Wow, you're ambitious! And to think my weekend goal is merely to tackle our laundry pile...

You know you can't potty train and wean in a weekend, right? It can take weeks or even months. I wish you all the luck in the world and the patience to go with it.

UPDATE

:-)

DD's are both off the bottle. Once I was OK with how they were handling it I packed them all away...they are doign very good.

DD #2 is off of formula and on to Milk. She is loving it - I think she likes being big like the other kiddos. I did forget how stinky diapers get with that change though!

DD #1 is holding her potty breaks - no accidents but she waits until nap and bedtime (when I put a diaper on her) to go...She has yet to go in the potty - I think once she does that she will be good.

Sara, sounds like things are going well. You got a lot accomplished. I hope DD#1 now gets the potty training down. It will happen! Just maybe on her time instead of yours. Unfortunately, that's how these things go sometimes but sounds like you're all doing well.

Sara,
How old is DD#1? Mine turns 3 in July right before our next baby's due and I dont' want 2 in diapers! We are potty training this week as well, and she doesn't want to go in the potty either, she would rather hold it... She can't do it forever though, right? Also, a tip for teaching your son time... Get an old clock you don't care about, and tape numbers all around with each number, so for the #1, you will put :05 right next to it, and on with the whole clock. That's what I did with my son, and he loved playing with the clock to learn the times.
Good luck!
Becky

DD #1 just turned 2 in Feb. I normally wouldn't have potty trained her so soon, but she was really showing me signs that she was ready. Good news to, since the last post - I have let her drink Sprite (which she will drink in limitless quanity) and that forced her to have to go. 5 times on the potty now...no accidents...

Our baby is due in August, but DD#2 only just turning 1 this month she doesn't walk yet and I am not too big and DS goes to preschool...timing wise I figured if she was ready this was a really good time for us.

Sara

PS: Anyone know why signatures aren't showing up?

They're showing up. In this thread I see yours, mine, tag1114, dnj51, BrendaRawson.

If you mean anyone else, they probably don't have a signature line. Some people have them, some people don't.

I would post your question on the Helpdesk board, or send an email to help@mycoupons.com. It might be a technical issue.
