What I am thankful for

I just read a thread at another site about hiding bowed legs and I thought "aren't you glad you have legs"?
When I was little I said mom I have a big nose. She said yes it's a popes nose, we all have them.
It made me glad to have a nose.
What are you thankful for?

I"m thankful for so much...

as mentioned, good health and the best family and friends in the world.

I'm also thankful for freedom, the ability to love and be loved and simple pleasures in life like the smell of freshly mowed grass, the colors of flowers, fresh strawberries...oh so much so I'll stop now!

I'm thankful to have a loving family, a job that I like, and good health. I didn't grow up with a lot of material possessions so I am happy with what I have. When I watched Idol Gives Back on TV and saw the poverty around the world, it made me feel blessed to live in the US. We have so much in our country that we take for granted like food and clean water.

I am thankful that my kids are healthy. A 17 year old girl in our school district that I work in, just passed away from meningitis! She was just fine and had a headache and cold symptoms and a month later she is gone.
I am also thankful to have a job I enjoy and that I get to have the summer off this year...first time ever!

I know I sound like a Pollyanna but I can't help it! My angel baby is healthy and happy, After being a preemie that scared us to death. My daughters are both beautiful girls that have never been in trouble, and are precious inside and out. We have a beautiful home, we are all healthy, what more could I ask? I have an education, a great job, I am so blessed!! Now if only God will send me a good man.......

I am thankful for many things, but I still try to hide my legs. I am thankful that they currently work, because in reality some day they may not. I have been stared at, ridiculed, and I have been asked some extremely rude questions. My solution is to make them as inconspicuous as possible. I'm quite sure the bowlegged person referred to by the OP has suffered similarly.

Please don't judge someone unless you have walked a mile in their shoes.

Don't laugh but I'm grateful for a leaky roof!! My first home and I had a leak in my roof over the weekend. For once I had to fix it (well the SO is) but I couldn't call maintenance. Yippee!!!

I am thankful to be alive and see and hear and smell the wonderful beginnings of spring. I have four healthy grown children , a daughter-in-law who is the daughter I never had, and a terrific grandson who is the apple of my eye. I have the best SO in the world and am happier at 53 than I have ever been. I am broke, but we love homemade soup! My job is horrid but it pays the bills. My health isn't very good but I have some insurance. My apartment is way too small but it is warm and dry. My car is quite old but she is fairly dependable. I have no close friends, but I have two sisters who mean the world to me. Both of my parents are gone but still live in my heart and the stories I pass on. My neice is heading for Iraq but she is happy to serve our country.
I am most grateful that the problems I have are not as grave as those of others. I am extremely thankful that God watches out for me- even if I don't agree with Him!!!
