I received the most wonderful package today! "toontown" sent me the cutest socks, Victorias Secret Lotion, Magnets, Jack Daniels Coffee, lip gloss, candy and a wonderful book called Live Your Passion, Tell Your Story, Change the World.

Not because there wasn't a list and not because you're picky but because I wanted it to be just right. And quite honestly, secret buddy, I don't know a lot about you. That made this even more fun because I got to "know" you a little better.

Oh My!! I am SO excited!! I was on my way out the door to babysit triplets and saw my package. Of course, I had to open it right away!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH Jadeval76!! You went way above and beyond!!

I got so many goodies in my box, including

an apple paper towel holder (already up and holding the towels!!) It fits perfectly in my apple themed kitchen!!
a kitty cat knick-knack with legs that hang over the shelf...(he is already on a shelf watching over us) how did you know we are cat lovers here?
a notepad..the letter "N"...goes with my first and last name!
an ice cream scoop and four cute little bowls...those will see plenty of use!
a package of mini sharpies....I always use sharpies and really needed these (if I can keep them away from my kids..lol)
a large bag of scrapbooking/card making items...there is so much fun stuff in there..I can't wait to use them.
a 3 pk of butterfly mini picks....love the colorful butterflies..these are so cute!
a bag of adhesive foam shapes...so much fun for using in crafts (again, have to keep the girls away from these)
and
an 8 pack of really pretty note cards...I can't tell you how many times I've needed some note cards and didn't have any. Now I don't have to worry..lol

Got my package-thank you so much. I love that it was such a "girly" package-all for ME. In a house w/ five guys, I don't get enough of that! I love the Avon lotion-my hands and lips are always so dry-it is really good stuff! After putting on the hand cream, I couldn't believe how satiny my hands looked. Do you sell Avon? I also love the BBW's spray and body wash-what a great fresh scent. The note cards are adorable-can't wait to send them to my best girlfriends. And the Starbucks card-too much. I used it today and guess what! They messed up on my drink, so they gave me a coupon for a free drink-bonus! Can't wait to try the BodyShop scrub-I love their stuff but hardly shop there since it's too far away. I can't wait to exfoliate! I really thought the samples were cool, err..., except for the stretch mark cream . Whatcha' trying to tell me? Hehee...Actually, I would probably need a 50 gallon drum of that to make a difference-lol....Thank you for being so thoughtful. I hope my buddy enjoys receiving her package as much as I enjoyed getting mine.

I received my package today and oh my goodness. I was like a kid on Christmas morning, opening gifts. I have never seen such a huge box of goodies. It was all so me too. I loved, loved and loved it!
So here's what Nancy sent:

The neatest star shaped lamp that says Family on the front
gardening gloves and flower/lettuce seeds(my girls love to garden and will be so excited about these)
nail polish(the light pink was the color I've been looking for and could not find!!)

coffee(I can't wait to try this)
penguin pooper(my girls wanted this and I was too cheap to buy it, LOL...they will be very happy)

2 magnetic list pads, 1 with my initial, both are so cute and I'm a list maker so these are great

2 cards for my daughters
a magnetic baby sitter set
and a gift for each of my daughters (I have them on the table so they'll see them when they walk in from school today)

Nancy, what a wonderful package. Each item was wrapped in tissue paper and packed in a ginormous box. I pulled and pulled and pulled little treasures from those packing peanuts. You put a huge smile on my face and I know my girls will be delighted! I know that will make them feel very special.

They squealed when they saw their package laying on the table. When I told them it was from my secret buddy(they remember me doing this before), my oldest ask what all I got. My youngest ran through the house trying to find the new items. They both smelled of all the candles and loved the apple candles. My youngest ask what your name was and if I knew what you looked like, LOL. My oldest, as predicted, ask if I could share the lip balm and coffee. She then picked up the flower seeds and said "ohhhhh, neat". I'm telling you, you made 3 girls very happy today!! Thanks again.

matching mini pad and pen and magnectic list pad(one of my favorite colors)

designer mat pad( we have the same taste)
gardening gloves (will be trying these out tomorow)
an apple strudel candle(already got it lit, its my favorite scent)
chocolate covered pretzels( I`m lucky I got one of those with my family, we are chocolate lovers)
tea cup and saucer with tea in it (love this its the same color my kitchen is, love country decor not country music. good choice)
The other thing I recieved is great, its called wrap around place mats for kids, where did you get those, they are great and I never saw them before.

I cked the address and it was the one I received so I am sending it again , hopefully it will get "up north" this time and now come back down south. no clue why it was returned to sender, address unknown. hope you get it this go round. there is something very special in there that I worked on for a long time for you!

My secret is that I am a shop-a-holic and fortunatly have the time to find bargains. When I see something good and good price I buy it and in my garage I have a drawer filled with this stuff. When I see what my secret buddy likes I go though my drawer plus I am lucky enough to have a christmas tree shop in my town. Anybody who knows this store will tell you about the things you can get. Should I say I`m sorry.

Both of my secret buddie packages I recieved were great and I loved all of it. Mazzymay said she liked diamonds and no she did not get one! I`m just like my Mom.

OMgosh, I was like a little girl opening everything! You have spoiled me for sure!! Everything was nicely wrapped in tissue paper, and I got:

A cow in a basket figurine (it went right on my mantle)
Quilted wall hanging that says "Bless our Home" (hung it right up too, had the perfect spot in my great room!)
Warm and fuzzy socks (I cannot wait to wear these!! )
Peach sachet (went into my undies drawer )
Note pad (I'll be fighting dh for those, even tho they are girly, he's a list maker and is always looking for paper )

So glad that you liked everything. Shopping is fun, but choosing is hard, lol. I love these exchanges. I've done just 2 now and it is so enjoyable and great to make new friends.

(I had never seen that mat for kids before either, I got it at CVS, but I think it was a one-time deal, because I don't see them there anymore.)

Freer usually will post when it's time for a new secret buddies program. If Freer is going to be able to cont. doing it...it's a lot of work, bless her heart! So just come back to this board every once in a while and you'll see the post when it gets started again. Sometimes it's once a month, at other times it's just during holidays.

I received my box of goodies and what can I say but "WOW"!!!! Tammy, you went above & beyond. The box was stuffed with so many things, I couldn't believe it. The best part of it all was the letter you put in there telling me why you picked out all the things you did. I loved it. Let's see if I can get it all down:
Pedicure set, lotion & hand sanitizer - loved it although dd#1 tried to swipe it.
Candle - burning as I type this.
Chocolates - gone I did share these although it was hard to do.
Pens - share 2 and kep the rest
Note pads & shopping list - in my purse already along with the lip balm.
Key chain - clipped on with the rest of them. Looks like the key chains outnumber the keys!LOL!
Wind chime - hanging outside.
Flashlight - in my car, never know when you might need it.
Tea - delicious! Didn't know Snapple made this.
Nashville info (postcards, map, newspaper) - interesting read. Let DD#1 claim the postcards since she collects them.
Water bottle - came at a perfect time since I joined WW and needed one and now I'll remember to drink my water.
Gift bags & note cards - loved them!!!

I'm sure I forgot something but just know that I absolutely loved everything!!!!

The blanket is so beautiful!!!! Thank you so much for making it for me. My 10yrDD was with me while opening the box and saw the baby blanket first thing. She is so excited about the baby and it was wonderful to find this handmade treasure! It's just beautiful!

socks for DH (boy can he use those!)

I sent my secret buddy package on Thursday. I can say it is definitely going east..since you can't go too much west of me..lol My buddy should receive it by Thursday (the p.o. said a week..we'll see..lol)

I have no clue what happened the first time i mailed it you you. someone wrote " wrong address' on it and instead of the mail man delivering it to the right address, he send it back to me. but thank God you got it . I was starting to panic. lol
Dont dry the baby afghan I made you in the dryer or it may draw up to the size of a kotex. lol. you can machine wash it on what ever easy wash cycle you have and then lay it flat to dry. glad you liked everything. and more glad that it actually got there this time!

amy119....just watch for new threads announcing a new one. It depends on my mood, what's going on, and how the last one went. I try to make sure everything is received from one round before I start a new one. In another week or so, I'll be posting for a children's sign up.
