NBA Play-Offs !

It seems like the NBA always gets snubbed. When it's time for the World Series or Superbowl there is hype for weeks. Last year when the Spurs won, they got a little blip on the nightly news. And this is not just the Spurs, it's all NBA teams. With the exception of the LA Lakers, who seem to have a great publicity crew and celebrity fan base.

So, are you watching the playoffs? Who's your favorite. Bet you can't guess who I'm rooting for...LOL

I am a Suns fan, once again it seems like 'the same game' every year!! At least all of the games are on tv for the 1st round of the series this year!!

I'm split between Cleveland and Detroit. My SO is a big Detroit fan but I love to watch LeBron do his magic.

If you lived in Boston, you wouldn't think the NBA got just a blip on the nightly news. Go Celtics!

The Lakers are our team, they are doing quite well! Here in Oklahoma we don't have an NBA team, we had the Hornets for 2 years when the hurricane hit New Orleans, they relocated here until their stadium was built. Next year we are getting the Supersonics. We have the CBA Championship Team here, the Lawton/Ft.Sill Cavalry, we go to alot of their games.

Oh man, I hope someone beats the Lakers (no offense, of course) before we have to play them (IF the Spurs, get that far ) The Lakers are the team to beat in the West.

Well, my SPURS are out of it. The Lakers just out-played them, Fair-and-Square!

My only real sadness is the Laker fans. After the game, before they awarded the trophy for the Western Conference, the announcer said "Lets give a round of applause to the Spurs for playing a good series", and the Laker Fans...boo'ed. The players were very gracious, I just don't understand why the fans were so rude.

GO Celtics!

Same things happens in Texas.... I hear Boos when the Suns are playing the Spurs all the time. I will say this I am not a Laker fan by any means but it came down to who do I hate more the Spurs or the Lakers? I rooted for the LAkers to win and now hope they get beat by the Eastern team.......

I thought the Spurs were "MY" Spurs!!! (just kidding......I guess you have more right to them then I do because you live in Texas). I LOVE the Spurs. I get made fun of a lot here but the reason I like them is because they play as a team and for the team. It's a bummer to see them out . Can't wait till next year. I don't care who wins now but I'll probably still tune in some just to see.

Go Celtics! We watch all sports in this house. Football and Baseball are the favorites but Hockey and Basketball still get watched especially when local teams are playing.

I love the Spurs. The ref made a bad call in the fourth game against the Lakers. Hopefully, next year will be better for the Spurs.
