If You Are Considering A Magazine Sub...

I just received my first issue of "All You" it contains almost $46 of coupons! So if you are waffling on getting a magazine let me tell you what I think. (So out of character for me but I can muster it up LOL)

Most of the subs we get are free. However I would pay for "Real Simple" "Quick and Simple" and "All You" and I am considering "Woman's World". The reasons are many the main one being they make me happy. I learn so much about nutrition, peoples's weight loss success stories, scams to watch out for, tips on cooking, decorating, fashion, makeup, organizing, saving money, etc. And they give me HOPE when I read about someone who is on a budget and redid something in their homes or to themselves and I can learn their tricks or when someone lost over 100 lbs just by eating sensibly, counting calories, and doing exercise after all I only have about 40 to go so if they can do it I can too!

They give websites, lists, concrete steps 1,2,3 what to do to be successful in situations. Even when it's something I already know maybe I have forgotten or maybe I need to physically read it and say it to myself to make it work.

Anyway I know money is tight but "All You" is worth the price even if you just buy it in the store each week. I am only using about 5 of the coupons and it's more than the price of the magazine even if I had bought it singly. The coupon for a free men's Adidas deodorant for my husband is probably worth about what $3 or so alone?

So if you need a cheap entertainment/makeover guide, etc go for it! And registering at the magazine websites gives you access to all sorts of special things.

Fill up the bubble bath or put your pajamas on and your feet up and read a magazine! Do something for yourself!

If you are wanting to buy a mag subscription DONT DO IT THROUGH EBAY!!!!!! I did last winter. Bought ALL YOU and got it for 3 months. I paid for a full year. After the 3 months was up, i started getting bills in the mail. I called the company and told them that I had paid for it with paypal and bought it off ebay. The woman said they dont list them on ebay nor do they accept paypal. She said I had been signed up for the free 3 issue trial and it was over now and If i wanted to keep receiving the mag, i needed to pay the bill. I looked up the seller on ebay and they were no longer a registured user. just wonder how many people the seller took for them money and signed them up for the free trial.

I would love to order womans world but its very expensive to order home delivered.

It's sold by subscription now...The last issue I got there was a card in it to subscribe...The first time I've ever seen this...Maybe before you could only buy it in Wal-Mart. Anyway, I agree with the OP...All You is a great magazine and worth every cent! There are some great coupons in there... ~Lisa

I buy a sub every year from my son's QSP Reader's Digest fundraiser through the school. I love All You!

Especially the coupons and sudoku...

Great deal you guys! Go for it. I may just go for it next payday and extend for two years. It even has a free bag of some kind.

You're right, littlejo...I wouldn't buy subscriptions or anything else on ebay. There's a WORLDWIDE Ebay Boycott BEGINNING May 1st, 2008. Ebay is implimenting numerous "restructuring" policies which many ebayers see as favoring dishonest buyers and sellers. If you want to learn more, go to ebay.com discussion board "Seller Central". Make sure to look at the last pages in there for over 3,500 boycott posts that ebay has buried. You can also learn more by searching "May 1st" Ebay Boycott .

add http://www. to the following to learn even more:
