I drive a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan. THere are 5 of us. We get 17-18 MPG in town and 23-24 MPG Highway driving. I love it because it has the stow and go seats we keep the extras stowed for more storage and leg room. It costs us about $70.00 to fill up from empty.

'92 Mercedes, got up to 24mpg on the trip we took last month. Don't have a clue what the mpg is normally though. I usually put 1/2 tank in when I gas up and that would last me at least a month if we don't go out as a family on a weekend or something.

2005 Ford Escape (Zuess) gets about 20 miles per gal running around town, not sure what we get on the highway as we havent had it on the highway, its so much better than my 2000 Windstar (Bullet rip bad tranny) was I only got about 9-11 miles per gal on it and 20 on the highway. Fill-ups on Zuess have been running 37-40 bucks but its been about 2 weeks since I filled up so no clue now of cost, and Bullet was well 60-65 bucks to fill up when she bit the dust in November.

I just cannot believe how expensive gas has gotten I have taken to grabbing my scooter and taking it to the store instead of driving, I am just glad I got the big basket on the back.

It is pretty common knowledge that the prius is a hybrid. If you didn't know then looking at the mileage it is not hard to figure out.

Edited to add. We have a 2006 Honda accord and a 2005 Grand Am both average around 22-24 miles per gallon.

2007 Ford Explorer 4X4 - I get 16 miles per gallon and it costs me $50.00 to fill up. But I love the cargo room (no third seat) - I can haul so much if I need to.

I am fortunate to have had a company car for the past 16 years. It's currently a Camry. My own car is parked in my garage so much that the dealership doesn't know what "service" to give it since my miles are so low on it.

I have always planed any stops along my route, trying not to make extra outings or trips. So taht part isn't new to me. It cracks me up when I read of a deal to get a $3 item free and the poster tells people to "RUN" and they do hop right in the car and go. I think that is going to change for many people.

Well, I for one didn't know. I had to research it in order to find out why the gas mileage was higher than usual.

I drive a Hummer H2, it gets 12 mpg. The gas mileage stinks but I still love it! At least my business is in my home so I don't have to drive back and forth to work. I just use it to run errands and to the kids activities. Costs $125 to fill up but that will last 3 weeks.

I have an '08 Dodge Avenger that I have had for just a year. I don't pay for gas because it is a company car but I think that it gets around 25-30 MPG. I have to say that both my DH and I drive company vehicles and do not pay for gas. I love my job and I thank the good lord every time that I have to fill up the tank. I have a truck that sits in the drive way that I have only put about 5000 miles on in three years.

I am not sure how everyone is going to cope with these gas prices. I am sure that my employer will start putting the "brakes" on personal use of company cars. When that happens I will either ride the bikes or the horse.

I currently drive a 2005 GMC Envoy XLT. I get about 17mpg and that's a combo of city and hwy. We are getting rid of it and getting a Honda Odyssey in a few weeks. It costs me about $75 and that lasts me about 2 weeks. DH gets a company car. It's an 2007 Ford Edge and gets about 23mpg (combo driving)

The Tahoe gets about 15 mpg.
The Luminia gets about 24 mpg.
The Dakota Sport gets around 14 - 15mpg.
The Camaro - I have no idea DS drives it so it's probably never even had over $20 in it at one time. lol

We drive a 2007 Honda Odyssey Touring Model and we average 14 - 15 in the city and 18 - 19 on the highway. Not what I expected for a Honda. We are trying to sell it partly for that reason.

We have 3
2003 Town and Country Van LX
2000 Crown Vic
1997 Voyager

Everyone must have some really small gas tanks as when gas was 3.39 a gallon it took right at 57.00 to fill up I have a 17.5 gallon tank. Now that gas here is 3.61 it will run over 63.00. When I go out I do everything in that outing. My T&C gets around 13 City and 20+ Highway. The new 2008 T&C are not much better it's 16 city and 24 highway.

DH has the Crown, now this is where the gas money goes, He works 6 days a week and works over 22 miles from the house. The Crown is a Police Issue car so the Motor is bigger than the off lot crowns. The gas mileage really sucks. He gets around 11 City and 16+ Highway.. It cost over 60.00 to fill his up.

The Voyager has not been driven in 2 years. This is our 'Spare Van' in case anything happens to one of the main cars. I have not put any gas in it since last year , SO I can't say what the fill up would cost. When I was driving it it was around 13 City and 19+ Highway.

I have a 2005 Chrysler Town and County Touring, I get about 19 city miles and 23 HWY miles. When I bought it I needed the extra room for my job and business, but now that neither one of those exist its wasted room. I am trying to hold out at least one more year before I buy a car.

I have a 2004 Grand caravan and I filled it the other day for 55.00. I do get great mileage though.. 20 in the city and about 25-26 on the highway. SO drive a dodge Ram. We wont even talk about that mileage.. Not much better then the YUKON.
I would love to get rid of one of them and get a hybrid however we really need both vehicles!!

I'm thinking about buying a new Honda Civic Hybrid....have any of you heard anything about them? I was thinking I prob. should get the Prius as it has been around much longer than the Hybrid Civic or Camry, but it is about 5k more I think and I don't want to have a ridiculous car payment because I owe my first born to Pitt.

DH has a Toyota Corolla (actually a Chevy Prizm but in the late 90's, some were manufactured under the Ford name and were lots cheaper then Toyota! we feel like it might last forever though!)!

It's not a manly car by any means BUT it gets an average of 37 mpg. It's funny when all 6' 3" of him unfolds itself out of that car. We are so glad that we purchased since he does a small commute to work.

I just got a new 2009 Dodge Journey and in town it hovers around 19.7 - 20.5 mpg. We haven't taken it anywhere yet to see what the highway miles will be but it's supposed to be around 25 mpg or so. We'll see how high we can get it (dh and I compete with each other to see how high we can get the mpg on my car.... )over Mother's Day weekend, we're driving to our godson's birthday party/Mother's Day brunch about 3 hours away.

My work car is a Grand Prix, get about 24-25 mpg.
Jaguar- Not sure on gas mileage
Jeep Grand Cherokee- Blah.

The Grand Prix gets a lot of use.

I drive a Nissan Armada (have to have something with at least 8 seats) We average around 19-22 miles per gallon, and I'm rarely on the highway. It gets the same gas mileage that I got with our Plymouth Grand Voyager.

Yeah, our nicknames are a sure fire way to know who Admin is which is good because when I post a new coupon code or deal on the boards people shouldn't go crazy reporting it as spam because I work here!

With all the worries about gas prices, I hope this doesn't come out wrong, but could you tell me why you chose such a big car, and what it's like to drive? I see enough Hummers around here, but cringe at the idea of trying to drive or park them. Is the inside really nice, or are they just not as hard to handle as they look? I've never actually known anyone I could ask.

I have a Corolla, it's about 38 MPG, because I do mostly highway driving, and yeah, I still suck at parking it.

I have an '07 Honda Odyssey Touring too and get around 18 mpg in the city. I can't remember what we get on the highway since we haven't put any highway miles on it since last summer. I wonder why there is such a big difference in the MPG.

'96 Saturn (manual transmission) that's pulling 36 mpg if I short shift, which is habit anyway. Last week was the first time ever I broke the $30 mark to fill the tank.

We own a 2004 Chevy Aveo and it currently gets about 22 mpg. We live on a small island in Alaska so it's always short, short drives to anywhere we need to go. Shoot, we can't even drive fast anywhere here since the highest speed limit is 45 mph! LOL!

When we lived in the real world, it was getting almost 30 mpg on the highway. We pay $3.92 per gallon for gas and I usually fill up when it hits a 1/4 of tank and costs me an average of $32 every 10 - 14 days to fill up.

My hubby has a 2009 Journey. We took it over spring break on a trip and averaged 27mpg on the Highway. Not to bad... He loves it It is the silver metal colored one...

I on the other hand have a Ford Focus. 05 I average 26mpg. I drive a lot of stop and go and highway. So that is not to bad... I filled up last for just under $40, and I usually fill up twice a week.

Did he get the Silver Steel color? That's what I have, it's really a blueish silver.....but I love it! I'm glad to hear it got such good mpg on the highway, we'll see how we do in a couple weeks!

Yup that's it. Silver Steel. One light it looks bluish, the next it looks like Gun metal. I love it...

I was a bit worried about the color, when dh printed it out (the day before we went to the dealer) it looked like a weird green. The dealer located one for me and said it would be there in a couple of days. While I was waiting for it to arrive, I worried that I should have told him some other color choice, but when I saw it...OMG, it was beautiful. It does look like gun metal blue. Have you guys used the in-floor coolers yet? Dh had to make sure he was the first to use them.
