Wrinkle help

Okay ladies, I'm noticing new awful wrinkles on my face, and what is even worse, on my chest! Big deep grooves, where I sleep on my side, it wrinkles, and I can't seem to get rid of them, here for the duration I suppose. Anyway, what kinds of moisturizers do you use, (that have sunscreen in them) do you use for the day? (For the face)
Do you use anything at night, or other times that help ?
I know, I'm getting older, I just want to look decent while doing so, and I for sure spent way too much time in the sun as a youth...

Sounds like you might be dehydrated. I use Aveeno Anit-Aging for my face (and the backof my hands) during the day, Nothing at night and lots and lots of hand lotion (Sauve cocco butter or oatmeal) all day long. Try drinking more water and see if that will help the Deep Grooves (as you called them)

Taking care of your skin is so important. Especially starting when you are young. You can prolong wrinkles, just can't really get rid of them once they are there (you can diminish, but have to keep using a product, the minute you stop, they come right back).
I always tell women to start in their 20's, when they aren't thinking about it, but it is soo important.

I use a good face cleansing system (Clinque). I use te Mousse to get make up off, then I use the bar soap to wash my face. Then I use the Clarifying lotion (toner) to finish it off.
I then use what I have found to be the best moisturizing system:
Lancome Moisturizer, along with the eye syrum (sp?) and then the eye cream over that.

I also strongly believe in the basic pink Oil of Olay. This stuff is very, very good. Case point, when I was doing EKG's, there was an elderly woman that was in her 80's that came in. She was all of 90lbs soaking wet.
I went to put the electrodes on her legs, and couldn't help but notice how SOFT and how youthful her legs looked. I commented on how soft and youthful her legs were and she laughed. She said that ever since she was in her 20's, she has used Oil of Olay on her skin (and her face was flawless as well!) and that whatever was left over on her hands, she would wipe on her legs!

That convinced me! if the small amount that is left over on your hands can do that over the years.. I am sold!

Alpha Hydroxy!
I went to my dermatologist for another issue and asked what he recommended for my face and he told me to use a lotion with Alpha hydroxy. I use one with glycolic acid and swear by it. It works great to keep my skin soft and fresh looking.

A couple weeks ago my eye doctor seen something on my eyelid he thought I should have checked out for cancer (it's fine). So he sent me to an eyelid specialist who also happens to also do lifts, Botox etc. While I was there I figured I'd ask him the best lotion to use on and around my eyes. He said the same thing - a lotion for the eyes with Alpha Hydroxy.

I'm in my 40's and have managed to keep wrinkles away. I think genetics and sun exposure have a lot to with it. But it is so important to take care of you skin - remove make up every day with a gentle cleanser, use sun screen and I recommend a alpha hydroxy lotion.

My 80-something year old grandmother has very few wrinkles. She has always told us that it is Nivea moisturizer in the blue container. I use it religiously and slather it on before bed nightly. I think it helps... My skin certainly drinks it up! I use Olay Regenerist Touch of Sun with SPF 15 and sunless tanner during the day.

I think that a BIG part of my grandmother's secret is that she lives near the ocean and the climate is humid. Living in the desert for most of my life along with being an outdoorsy person has been very challenging as far as keeping my skin and hair moisturized.
