"Athletic Fit" Suits for men

Does your hubby have the wide chest? Mine does, and we can't find suits that fit. If your SO has a wider chest and shoulders with a narrow waist, where do you find suits that fit with smaller waisted pants? Online would be great. We live in SoCal and have had no luck in stores. Thanks!

Have you tried a menswear specialty store. They are more pricey than dept stores however the brands and the alteration specialists are worth their weight in gold. My oldest son falls into the catagory of Athletic Fit and we had a heck of a time getting him a great fitting suit. I finally took him to a mens store in a nearby city. The suit was $500 but it was altered and looked like a $1000 suit. Online you can find some but you will still need a good tailor to get it fit to perfection.

I agree, it's all in the alterations. Make sure you find a Tailor that does good work.
