I tried searching for the same thing last year, and frankly just gave up. Instead, I went to the book store, and bought a couple of hairstyle magazines. Some of the mags break down the sections into age appropriate styles.

I have used this site and it is not bad. You cannot access the whole site without signing up and paying, but you get a decent variety to work with for free. Of course, the best ones are not free, but it's the only free one I have found for uploading my pic and trying hairstyles and colors.

I found several with a Google search but as soon as you reach the second page in the sign up (good thing I use fake email address!), it asks for your credit card. Stellure was one that did this. Ladies Home Journal has a pretty good one (which is actually the 'makeover game' recommended by allinaugust!) but with limited styles and so you have to pay $14.95 to upgrade if you want to see the other styles. I was getting tired of signing up and then being told that it wasn't *free* afterall. ![]() Any other suggestions with a LOT of hairstyles to choose from -- free? Maybe one of you might have found a site like this that you have personally used... I am now wishing that I had my old Cosmo Makeover computer CD, but I sold that at a yardsale at some point. Silly me. Last edited by Cuthie; 05-18-2008 at 10:19 AM. |
