I've been around awhile... heh.

There was a Dunkin Doughnuts ad on TV, that ran for years. The baker rises REALLY early and groans, "Time to make the doughnuts." You can really tell that he's so excited about it! LOL.

What is a boring and mundane task you perform day after day that makes you feel this way? Be it at your job or at home.

For me, it's laundry, dishes, sorting mail -- the obvious... I also feel this way about some of the kids' activities but they love them and I know that these days will soon pass, sigh!

Definitely, no doubt about it, dinner! (And by extension, lunch, breakfast, etc...) I often tell people that it I knew that these guys would require feeding at least three or four times a day I never would have had 'em!

I hate unloading the dishwasher and putting clean laundry away. I feel like I am doing one of those wood puzzles, trying to fit things in the right hole.

At work: shelving library books (I shelve up to 1500 per week, EVERY week)

At home: laundry (our washer/dryer is in our garage which is detached from our house and in our backyard.)

I remember that commercial and often find myself saying it as I get up at 5:30 each weekday morning to shower and get ready to take the kids to school and go to work myself. But after Wednesday I will get to sleep later than 5:30...YAY! Last day of school is Wednesday and we're all excited in our house about that.
