I got a kit for raising Triops/tadpole shrimp( Think sea monkeys with a shell) for Mothersday. I am totally facinated by them. Anyone have any experience with them? I would love some advice on what they like or fun things about them. They are so cool.

Actually they are brine shrimp. I am a science teacher and had them in my room for years. They are easy to hatch and take care of. If they die off, you can buy brine shrimp eggs and sea salt in a pet store and stay them up again. Kids like to watch them.

I thought sea monkeys were brine shrimp?? Whats the shell??
I know we used to hatch them in the pet shop to feed the saltwater fish...much cheaper to buy in the pet shop...they come in a little vial

These aren't brine shrimp they are actually quite different.
