Saturday cleaning house, working in the yard then swimming. Sunday, church, then a cookout and swimming for a few family members and friends. Monday, relaxing and swimming. We don't plan on going anywhere.

Sunday morning we are going to a Memorial Day Parade DH has to march in, then we are off to see Indiana Jones Crystal Skull movie,. Monday we are going to a friends house for a cookout. Our whole plan is to avoid the beach at let the crazy tourist have fun.....

Saturday morning my gf and I are going yard sailing. While I'm doing that, hopefully dh will be planting our bean seeds, or at least re-tilling the area to get ready to plant. Then after I get home we're taking our travel trailer up to the lake (we got a permanent site this year) and spending time up there raking and getting our site all cleaned up and looking good. Sunday depends on how much dh got planted on Saturday, we may have to finish that up. Otherwise we'll just hang out at the lake, taking the girls canoeing and just having fun. Monday morning both girls have to march in the parade (for their girl scout troops) and then we're heading back to the lake for a chicken BBQ.

We are leaving tomorrow after school in our travel trailer to go camping at the lake until Monday. We will fish, drink (mudslides, beer & bourbon - but not all at once!), eat, swim, sun, read, relax, do nothing, sit around the campfire, whatever and have a ton of fun! We all love to camp! We're going with DH brother and his family.

Janenga, I had to google your signature line to see J'embrasse mon chien sur la bouche means
"I kiss my dog on the lips"
LOL

Too cute

As for this weekend, we are going camping in a tent for the first time in our lives! I am so excited
We come home Sunday and will spend Monday quietly at home grilling and watching movies probably. DH has a few sales he wants to hit that day

Friday night going to see the new "Sex in the City" movie with my dd. Then Saturday is the beginning of vacation for my DH. We have a long "hunnydo" list! The yard and garage need to be thoroughly cleaned up....at the end of the week I am having a huge garage sale. We had cleaned out my mom's, his dad's and my aunt's house when they passed and I just have to get rid of alot of that stuff that seemed so important to keep at the time.

poor You!!
just kidding, have a great vacation....

we are camping at the state park this weekend, and taking our rowboat..My mom got the campsite next to us, and my brother in law will be coming out too for at least a night...DH might have to work, so having BIL around to help with the men will be nice....(Dh has been working 7-12 hr days, and has too as long as the work lasts). I will get tired of fishing and will want to kick back with my book, so BIL will be my respite.

Just going to the park in Fairfax for a picnic. Cleaning the house, washing clothes, that's about it.

Friday night Dh and I are having date night. We are going to a steak house we haven't been to in years. (For you Ft Campbell people Charlie's Steak House.)

Saturday we are doing yard work, same as all Saturdays! I plan on doing a little geocaching in our local state park. Then a little picnic, just sandwiches. We are also going to watch a Lighted Boat Parade at dusk.

Sunday probably shopping.

Monday we will be grilling country ribs.

J- Did you guys get a site at Camp Chat? We're planning on being there for Father's Day weekend, pending I can cancel a 4H obligation. I'm so jealous if you guys are perms there!

Well, we're going camping with 3 other families. We'll leave tomorrow night after our youngest DS baseball game. We'll go out on the boat (I'm sure the boys will want to waterski or tube as usual. It's SO cool here though, but every year they go in this early!), eat and drink way too much, have a cornhole tournament (I bought some crazy prizes!), and who knows what else! We'll come home on Monday and just hopefully, if the pools warm enough, go swimming for the first time this year!

Hope everyone has a great, fun-filled weekend!

As a rule we normally don't go "anywhere" Memorial or Labor Day weekends simply because of traffic and crowds and price gouging. We are driving to MIL's on Friday (two hours away) and Saturday we are doing yard work. Tonight we are going to look at a used tent trailer so if we buy it I will spend part of the weekend cleaning it and stocking it. Yay.

My son is graduating from college this weekend (where the hell did the last 4 years go?!?) Sunday we are going to an all day Blues, Brews and BBQ festival and we are having a cookout on Monday to celebrate his accomplishment and Memorial Day.

Man, I am so jealous of yall!! First of all, I forgot this was even a holiday weekend. Secondly, I have to work Fri. and Sat., then on call Sunday. Plus my poor DD and her gimped up knee! So I'm guessing we will just cook out on Monday. LISACB, how I wish I was joining you! Sounds like my kind of weekend!!!

Nope, our site is at the Vikings on Chautauqua Lake, over by Midway Amusement Park. I'm a member of the Vikings and have been on the trailer list for 8-9 years...this year we finally made it to the top of the list and got in! If you guys are coming up for Father's Day, maybe we can plan on meeting somewhere. You can let me know. Have a great weekend!

Well, we are not doing what I'd like to be doing!
I want to go to a square dance camping week end in Lexington, Ky, about 90 minutes away.
BUT........ DH has a sore foot, gas is too high, I think the park is sold out, and we have to get things ready for a trip to Michigan to my nephews graduatioon party and a trip to Wichita, KS for the National Square Dance Convention.
So we will work around here and MAYBE drive to the week end thing for one day and see the grandsons too, since they live in the same town.

It's like a beanbag tossing game....kind of like shuffleboard in a stange way.

Look at Corn Toss, Cornhole, Bean Bag and Bean Toss - Rules, Sets and Standards

It's actually pretty fun.
