What Artist Do You LOVE, But Kind Of Keep It To Yourself???

I just love Fergie!!! All of her music, London Bridge, Clumsy, can't get enough of it. The kicker is she is my age, and so fine!! Her body is like mine was when I was in my 20's. Of course now here I sit, 3 kids later, one in the last 2 years! I know she is targeted toward a younger crowd , but I can't help it! I have all of her music downloaded. Any of you have an embarrassing obsession? She was on the Today Show the other day, and just so cool. Why in the heck can't I look that way?? Minus the eyebrow piercing of course! Only ears here!!

I like Britney's older stuff. Great beats and easy to dance to.

I am so with you as far as Fergie goes. When "Big Girls Don't Cry" comes on the radio, I just can't help but crank it up! It's a bit tough though, when I am driving my 17 yr. old kid around w/ his friends, and the Jane's Addiction, and the Beasty Boys,3 Doors Down, Lincoln Park, and Nickelback come on, I have to pretend like I don't know the words....I really like the music that my kids listen to. Actually Patrick brags on me a bit-probably the only reason he will ever brag on me-my mom is cool-she knows all my music. Umm. Patrick, your favorite groups are Guns and Roses, Journey, Poison, and Aerosmith-that's not YOUR music, that's MY music!!~!

I LOVE Chris Cagle!!!! I really do! I think he's so arrogant, so I hate that I love him...

But I also have such a thing for Clay Aiken. I'm no claymate, but I truly could listen to that voice all day. Yes - my taste varies...

I'm the same way. I really like Fergie too. Sometimes they play her songs a little too much on the radio, but for the most part I'm cranking them up. I'm finding that when I pull up to an intersection though and other cars are around me, I turn the radio down, lol. Then when no one is around, I crank it back up again.

Edited to add: Geez, I didn't realize she was only 32, I just googled her age to find out. Heck I'm only 31, lol.

Toby Keith...

To most people, that wouldn't seem embarrassing BUT I listen to alternative rock and rock: 2 Days grace, Hinder, Nickelback, classic 80's and 90's rock, Seether, Rage Against, etc. You just DON'T want to admit you like a country artist KWIM? I just think his songs are fun and kind of smart ass...

My poor kids, they don't know any "kid music". They are 7 & 9 and they listen to what we listen to. They had a kareoke party at school and they didn't know the songs...ah, oops Sorry, my kids don't watch Hannah Montana and High School Musical...is that such a crime??? (please tell me no )

There's alot of songs that I like the music, but the lyrics are nasty...One of them being "Gin and Juice" by Snoop Dog...I like his music and voice, just not the lyrics...if that makes any sense... ~Lisa

I have very eclectic music tastes so I listen to whatever suits my mood. But..........(she says looking over her should, ducking her head, whispering) I am ashamed to admit that once in a while I queue up.......Kenny G. Usually with the headphones on because otherwise I will have to listen to the comments from my sweetie. "How did you get Safeway to pipe their music to the house" "Third floor housewares, fourth floor ladies lingerie" ect.

My iPod's got my music and various things from DH on it. For awhile it kept shuffling NWA, which was sort of embarrassing, at least if anyone else was in the car. I have some questionable music, but not sure how much I should mention here!

I listen to Radio Disney on a semi-frequent basis.

A couple of songs that make me boogie on my ipod are "Toxic" by Britney Spears and "Fergilicious" by Fergie.

and I've been bringing my DD along with me.

When she was 4 she was dancing around the grocery store singing "At the Copa" (she knew all the words). I was trying to ssshhh her and tell her that our Barry obsession (and Daddy's Star Wars one) was only for hom.

For Christmas my DH drove us 5hrs to see him in Cleveland (she was 8) and we paid $200+ a ticket to see him in the 4th row. (Ok.. not many people know that..)

Remember on Wayne's World, Garth was getting his teeth drilled to the sounds of Kenny G. Too funny ....
Also, remember wayne and Garth spoofing Madonna's "sex" book. It was filmed in black and white, and Madonna was in bed with Wayne and says "check out the package on that guy"...camera pans into a guy dancing (his crotch), he is wearing a black tight leotard type thing, the camera pans up and its GARTH. Too funny. I know, now I am sounding like that Chris Farley character.

I love listening to Hannah Montana and I love my kids music.....One of my daughters friends said she wishes her mom would listen to my kind of music.

The song I absolutely love is Fake It by Seether....my kids don't listen to that. I am a pretty conservative person but I love that song. My kids get a laugh out of that,
