 Age Spots??
I just this afternoon noticed on DH's nose he has brown spots. Well it's not really a spot but it pretty much runs the length of his nose. He says its been there for a while. Do you think it's just age spots? He's 46. Or should I insist he go to the doctor? Age Spots and skin cancer is the only thing that popped in my head when I saw them. I did a search on pix of skin cancer and it certainly didn't look like any of those. But, isn't he a bit young to have age spots?  |

I totally agree, let him see a dermatologist, then he will know either way. early detection is always the best!

I am only 42 and have age spots already but you should get them checked out just to be safe.

I am 34 and have age spots (or sun spots as my doc calls them). I have 2 more that "appeared" over the last winter even though I wear spf over 30 daily. I am just so fair they all show up

I will make him go to the doc. I didn't know young people could get age spots. Umm, I surprised I don't have them. I stay tanned in the summer, have for years and years. I know it's bad for me. But... Thanks, guys! I knew you all would know if I should be concerned or let it roll. |

I know several people who have died from skin cancer. Have him go to the doctor. Catch it early!!! It's important!!!
