How was it Linnybop? We went Friday night to the Family Fun Night and it was CROWDED! Full of teenie boppers running around, counting all of mine Was heading up that way yesterday to go to birthday party on Muddy Creek Rd (the road by Flannagan's Strawberries where everyone was parking) and it was stopped from there to Malbon Rd about a mile down the road. Had to turn around and go the backroads to make the party. Very Crowded yesterday. And as for the Virgin drinks, should of just went into Munden's and told John Munden (owner) Tammy said to hook you up....lol. He would of gave ya a snow cone...lol. In the next few years, Munden's will be a Wawa....what's the Strawberry Festival gonna do...lol Hope you have fun!

My teeny bopper was one of Friday night's crowd as well. Sorry about that! We actually just went today-we saved Sat. to be lazy and hit a Tides game-they won!!! So we went this afternoon, and hit the backroads w/ no traffic whatsoever coming or going. We ate a lot of food....First stop was Wood Chicks BBQ. They were featured on the Food Network w/ Bobby Flay last week in the BBQ showdown. I have to say, it was decent barbecue, but really, I was a bit disappointed. We have had a lot better w/ our more local vendors. The little guys had a funnel cake, then we got a skewer of chocolate covered strawberries. In lieu of carnival rides, we bribed the kids w/ 7-11 Slurpees. Then we shared a strawberry taco (waffle cone in a taco shape w/ strawberries and whipped cream filling.) After that, we hit the booth w/ the fresh fried potato chips-OMG, a pile of chips aabout 2 ft. tall. They were so good! It's funny-we actually stopped at the market on the way out of the fest-they were totally out of berries!

WOW, you mean Henley's Produce was out of berries!! OMG. Did you know they have had strawberries all winter long, OMG they were sooo good too. They put plastic over top of them and we had such nice days that they plants starting bearing strawberries. I ate fresh strawberries on Christmas Day! Isn't that a hoot..lol. Wow, my cousin runs that place, I'm sure she had her hands full this weekend, will have to call her tonight and make sure she's okay.lol... Glad you had a good time. You know, I almost bet my daughter and your son knows each other. She hangs out with alot of kids from VB, her only true friends so she claims..lol.
