| Digital tv conversion
Does anyone know how to tell if your tv is digital or not?? I am sure about half of ours already are, but need to know for sure as I will be dumping cable once our sweet deal is over (for cable). I merchandise in the electronics dept in several stores, and giggle when i hear the husbands telling their wives they MUST buy a big screen plasma because of the conversion. Please post if you understand any of this |

If you have cable or satellite TV the conversion will not affect you, whether your tv is digital or not. If you have an antenna, and the tv is not digital, you need a converter box. If your tv is digital, and you don't want/have cable or satellite, you need an antenna but not a converter box. Of course digital tv with just an antenna will not get you many channels. At leat that's how understand it.

Hehehe, *I* would be the one telling my husband we MUST buy a big screen plasma! ![]() I want one, I do I do I really do! But, they're expensive, so there WILL be a lot of price comparison and researching of models, makes, etc. Even if we won the lottery, he'd stll have to do his research before buying any big ticket item!
