Who's seen Sex and the city - movie

Anyone seen it yet?
If you have please tell me what happens.
You can email me so you don't spoil it for others.
Going tonight with my daughters, they are
so excited to finally see it.
My youngest likes some of Carrie's outfits,
they are a little too much for me.

A friend of mine just had a Sex in the City party. Everyone got dressed to the nines and went out for a fancy lunch and Cosmos. It was so much fun. I even actually enjoyed the movie even though I was never a great follower of the show since we don't have cable. I must say by looking at various reviews it was a love or hate it kind of reaction. I doubt I could get DH to it even with threats of violence but great for a girls night out.

I really enjoyed it. I went with my dd but she is almost 20. I cried so many times during the movie. I felt there were many touching scenes and very believable plot twists if you had followed the show. It was very satisfying. I wish they could have concentrated on even more of the characters, but at 2 and a half hours, how long could they possibly make it, lol.

There is some nudity and simulated sex scenes so I don't think it is age appropriate for a younger audience.

I saw it Friday night with a friend. I loved it as well. Someone at work had seen it at the Midnight showing and came to work saying there was SOO much sex in it. I myself, did not think there was anymore sex in the movie than in watching one of the episodes on HBO.

I did love it though. I love to look at the clothes, and the shoes, and I laughed and cried. There were some really good lines in there.

BTW..did anyone else see the microphones on the top of the screen in a few of the scenes? My friend caught it and was like..what is that? How can that be?

I've been laughing to myself all week about some of the lines.. " I put a bird on my head for that man"..."That was a bird? I thought it was a feather".."No it was a bird"....so cute.

MIL and I went on Sunday to see it. We both really liked it. I was laughing so much when they were in Mexico and Charlotte had her "accident" and when they were talking about Miranda's hair "situation."

I also wanted to know what happened before I go see it. I found a blog that was very thorough in posting a synopsis of the entire movie. Here is the link:

The Median Sib Blog Archive Sex and the City Movie (SPOILER ALERT!)

Thanks for the spoiler link. I won't be able to go see the movie, but at least I can read about it.

It was definitely not for a younger audience since the sex stuff -- in my opinion -- was extremely graphic. I went with my 28-year old DD and my SIL and her 35-year old DD. While we loved the movie, even the "younger" girls thought the sex scenes were much too explicit.

I'm the odd woman out. I went last night. It was OK. I thought the show was better. I laughed a bit. I didn't cry, but I rarely cry at movies. The sex scenes didn't bother me. I mean, it is called 'Sex and the City!" I thought most of the sex scenes were pretty funny.
