Some time ago, I changed my icon to a photo of my dog when she was a puppy. Soon after that, I began seeing many icons of animals. Did I start a trend? If your icon is a pic of your pet... what breed/type is yours and what is it's name?
My dog is a Golden Retriever named Marley.

Not sure if you started a trend or not. I just needed an avatar, and the picture of our new puppy was the only thing that seemed to "fit" the size requirements.

Our puppy is about 4 months old now, and is named Daisy. She is a yellow lab/retriever mix. I think she has some beagle in her, too. We got her at the humane society. We love her, and she is super sweet, but man oh man, have we had to lay out the cash for her.....I'll start another thread for that, tho.

ETA: When we were trying to pick a name for her, DS said "we need to pick a name that we can be proud to yell down the street when calling her....." LMAO....I don't think he's too happy with Daisy.
