For me...
Open windows with a nice breeze. Most of the time it's either hot and humid or freezing.

Finding money I forgot I had. (usually while catching up on long over due laundry) This one doesn't happen nearly often enough.

Beating my 11yr old at Guitar Hero. It's a guilty pleasure, but he almost always wins and he's quite smug about it.

If I am really b*tchy - I honestly need some chocolate - even if it's just a cup of mocha. It will help me snap out of it. In general, good up-beat music from the 70's will do the trick.

Its difficult for me ...I'm constantly having panic attacks.
I would say the things that put me in a good mood are the things I have to be thankful for.

Wow, I must be the odd one here, cause my answer is NOTHING!

If I am having a bad day, nothing is going to change it...I don't want to be talked to or touched, I just want to be left alone!

I am pretty happy and content 98% of the time, I barely have bad days....but when I do avoid me like the plague!

quiet time at night once the kids are all in bed
indulging in some chocolate or fav ice cream while relaxing (wish this happened more!)
Finishing a sewing project and seeing the (usually the little ones) kids try it on and like it
Cooking and having someone else clean up the whole mess
Sitting on the porch swing watching the kids play (when they are all getting along)

Generally I'm in a good mood, but when I get in a bad mood most who know me just stay clear!

I can tell you what DOESN'T put me in a good mood.....AGGGHHH, coming home and seeing that DS didn't let the dog out, and he tells me he did....uh huh.....then he gets to drag out the steam cleaner and "fix it". Well, then that puts me in a good mood, I guess ;-)

The sun shining puts me in a good mood, and being around happy, positive people.

and this is one thing that really relaxes me - at a certain time in the late afternoon, the trees in my front yard make shadows on my living room walls as the sun is starting to go down

ICANHASCHEEZBURGER, makes my day. They have the most adorable animal pics and it can always make me smile.

The drive home. I know that sounds weird but we have a 30 mile drive uphill, through the pass and into a high desert valley. In the middle of the night. Been doing it for 19+ years and it is a great time for winding down and reflecting on the events of the day.

Music. Whatever kind I am in the mood for.
