Yeah, in 9 hours in will all be over with-Patrick will have graduated and our party guests will leave!!! Ok, that might sound rude, but I am pooped! Between all the cooking, the cleaning, buying gifts for not just Patrick, but 97 of his closest friends (alright, only 11), etc., I really don't feel like I have stopped going at all this week. That was on top of working full-time for the last two weeks @the middle school as a substitute gym teacher -yikes!!! So if you have a kid graduating or if you have in the past few weeks-yes, congrats to he/she, but here's a big pat on the back for you! Now, just let me get through this ceremony w/o being a big bawl-baby. I already almost lost it once when I saw his gown and hat laid out on his bed.....

You will cry, it's a given!! My son graduated from college 2 weeks ago, and I definitely got teary eyed. It is a huge accomplishment for both the student and the parents. Especially with all Patrick and your family has been through, I am sure it will be an emotional day. Congrats!!! Enjoy the day and be proud of yourself for what you have done to get him here today. I know I patted myself on the back on my son's graduation

My DS graduated on May 25th. I cried and knew I would before hand. I also warned hin I would LOL!!! We are waiting to have his party until July 28 so I still have all that work to look forward to. But man I've been to 4 graduation parties each weekend since he graduated. Can't wait to take a break. Congrats to all the other grads & parents here!!!!
