Thanks for letting me know. I'll have to add my name to the waiting list at the library tomorrow.

I bought it and read it yesterday. I am a huge fan and a true Ranger Babe. However, I didn't think this one was as good as the last few. It was still a really enjoyable read, but not as much excitement. That said, I will still read it again many, many times.

I have to agree, no laugh out loud moments in this one. I still read it quickly and enjoyed it.

Someone at our Shoprite put the display out last Friday, I was SHOCKED when I saw it!

Hi just read my first one recently. MANHUNT. I enjoyed it and found it to be a nice easy quick read. Is it best to read them in the order that they came out or does that not matter? Which are the best?!

I am number 163/163 waiting for the book at our local library. May be awhile before I hear from them on that one, lol.

The book the OP is talking about is part of the Stephanie Plum series and you do want to read these in order. The Plum series is probably the most popular. Start with One for the Money and go from there. I am jealous you are just starting, you have so many good reads in store for you!!!

I have read one or two of her other books (outside of the Plum series) and didn't enjoy them as much.

I also didn't like the holiday books that are in the Plum series. I thought they were kind of lame.

These are really great books, even though they do get a little wearing but the characters are wonderful! Any one recommend others like them? the only ones i can think of offhand are the Bubbles books from Sarah Strohmeyer (probably spelled wrong) called Bubbles in Trouble. They are laugh out loud funny like Janet Evanovich and if i remember correctly she credits Janet in her books for helping her write the Bubbles books. any others?

What type of books are these?

I love the Shopoholic Books by Sophie Kinsella. They are hilarious.

I waited to read this post until after I finished the book. I agree, it's not the best of the series but still fun to read. She didn't resolve the Lula story line so I wonder if that will be part of #15.

I just finished #14 today - it wasn't as funny as some of the others - I love Lulu but there wasn't enough of Grandma in this one to satisfy me - I always LOL at Grandma and her cronies
