Anyone ever use Arbonne?

I am thinking of selling it. It's expensive and I wonder if it really works. I guess the best way is to convince people to pay the $29 so they can get a 35% discount.

My dd is a consultant and for Mother's Day, she made me one too. And she and DH got me the whole RE9 kit. I LOVE it. I saw someone the other day that I hadn't seen in a while and she said I looked 10 years younger. While I think that is a bit of an exaggeration, lol, I do love how my skin looks and feels now.

My DD really enjoys doing it and went to the convention in Ga. a few months ago. I don't know that she's making very much money at it, but she really doesn't have a ton of time to "work the business" yet.

I say go for it!!

I sold it last year. Some of it is nice stuff, but way too overpriced. I sold a few things in the 1st months & then nothing..after everyone realized they could get it on ebay for less than 1/2 of what I was selling it for. I Loved the RE9 face set & used up my kit I used to give to try, but couldn't afford it after that. I also don't know any people including myself who aren't financially struggling, so that also didn't help with sales. Just my thoughts on Arbonne..

Well basically the main reason I would be doing it is because David Cassidy's wife is the district manager so if I bought my way in I could meet him in person for real. But I am torn because first of all what Toontown said it's expensive and the people in my circle are not rich and look for bargains. As a matter of fact the county I live in is in a financial crisis right now.
And the Cassidys are on the other side of the country. I would not have the help I need nor would I have kits to borrow for parties until I got my own.
If I had the "extra" money I would sign up pay the $2500 and meet him and be happy. (I don't want to get to know him so to speak it would ruin the fantasy LOL --unless??? no we're both married LOL--scratch that last part)
I recently met online a local lady who sells it and raves about it so if I were to do it would it not make more sense to do it locally but then what about David?
Help!

I use the Arbonne anti aging line and I love it! I love the face wash and it's orange scent. I think the day and night cream are too heavy for my face though, but since I bought the whole kit they came with it. My boyfriend uses their acne kit and he really loves that too. The lotion is light and doesn't make his face feel greasy and he is completely acne free. It's way better than proactive in our opinion.

op - omg it costs 2500 to sign up to be a rep for them? did I read that right? If you pay that much does it include a ton of products for you to sell or something?

Is this a pyramid? Years ago my ex husband bought into Holiday Magic, a cosmetic line with all kinds of fruit sounding names for their products. I don't think he ever made enough money to pay off the original $2500 buy in fee at the "distributor" level. I was tempted to eat the stuff. We didn't have a pot or a window to throw it through.

IN my humble opinion, one has to have a ton of "girlfriends" who work in offices and have disposable money they are ready to spend on the latest and greatest. I acquaintance of mine had a "purse" party last week with all her working girlfriends. She spent over $200 for two knockoff purses. I was gobsmacked!

It certainly is expensive, and I would not have bought it for myself, but I am oh so grateful to my family for doing it for me. I don't think I'd do it to meet David C. though!! You're too funny OP!! lol

They "Arbonne" says it's not the pyramid thing...but it is.. You want to recruit others below you, so you can make $$ off there sales also.
It's not $2500 to start, at least I didnt when I did.
I needed the cost of yearly reg. which was like 20 or $30..I don't remember. THEN you need your puppy dog kit..the $250 RE9 skin care kit you hand to your fried to use for a couple days, when you go collect it back, you go over the speel on how great it is for your skin..etc..etc.. & hopefully they will buy it......9 out of 10 times or less once they find out how much it is, no one I knew could afford it, but almost every enjoyed the RE9, just not for $250. Then of course you have to buy all your samples & order forms, order books, etc. That all adds up.

Well this would put me into "his world" for sure.

I have decided it's not a good idea I won't be too successful with my team across the country. If I do it it will be locally and I'll have to find another way to be David's friend SIGH LOL.
