She was probably sent to the line (I am assuming) because another register opened or something to that affect.

Sad to think that this nut case has a baby.

Well, she gets points for handing the baby to someone else, but attacking someone is bad. And then attacking someone else is worse, and biting a cop after that? I guess there really are some days when you just should have stayed home.

How old was this woman? Skimmed the article but didn't see. Just assuming that she is young, but who knows. I would guess that this had nothing to do with being asked to switch registers, but everything to do with all the stresses in her life. The final straw was the incident of being asked a simple request.

Unfortunately, I think we're going to see more of this outrageous behaviour as out of control prices on everything is pushing people to the brink of losing it completely.

This woman needs to have that baby removed from her NOW. If that little thing sent her over the edge to that degree in public that child is in danger. If she has this kind of anger over that, what about when the baby has been crying all day, has a diaper load full and the sink overflows? There is no excuse for that behaviour. I do not care how high prices are or how stressed you are. You cannot attack another person.

ITA. If she'll do that in public, what she'll do in private isn't something that a child should ever be subjected to.

That baby doesn't have a chance.
