More like here come Jamie-Lynn and her mother pimping out the photos to engorge their own wallets.

I did read something last night about this. I believe they sold the rights to a first photo shoot to someone.

Oh gosh, are you serious? You would think that they have enough money as it is, no? At least of enough to protect the baby from the media.

Most stars sell the right to the first baby photos........

Jamie Lynn has stayed out of the media spotlight since becoming pregnant. She moved back to KY, bought a home with her fiance and for all intents and purposes is making the best of a bad situation, unlike the rest of her family. I think it's unfair to judge her based on the actions of her wacked out sister. Yes, she made a mistake in becoming pregnant when she did, but she has done nothing but make the best of it and I think she's doing a great job. I think she has had some perfect examples of how NOT to raise a baby and I personally think she's going to do just fine raising her child. As for the first baby photos, a lot of celebrities do the selling of the rights thing now so that the crazy media frenzy isn't constantly hounding them. Those paparazzi are going to try to get their pics no matter what. Anyway, I wish Jamie Lynn, Casey and Maddie the best and have a feeling they are going to be just fine. Sometimes the apple does fall quite a ways from the tree.

I agree with wow. Nothing says as a star you HAVE to sell pictures, they choose to do it. It woudl have been more respectful and admirable if she had handled it another way.

I saw something on the morning talk shows aobut HS girls are now making "pregnancy pacts" and getting pregnant on purpose. A psychologist blamed it on celebs getting pregnant.

Where are the decent parents??? I know you can be the best parent ever, and this could still happen, but, most likely wouldn't.

Well I think in Jamie Lynn's Case I have to say I don't totally fault her. She was already "living" an adult life, living on her own out of the parents home, and pretty much out of the parents care. She did step out of the spotlight. As for the pics I see nothing wrong with selling them, only because I can't imagine how bombarded they must have been with everyone wanting to be the one to get the pics. This way other major outlets know they get them, and will have to wait. I'm sure this situation has been extremely stressful. Not to mention, she's not working, and she does need to provide for herself and baby.

I agree with Abrant I think we should give this girl a chance and see what happens, and as fas as Brittneyy is concerned may she find peace and happiness and hopefully spend some time with her boys and say away from to take care and get better. peace catherine

I don't really blame her for selling the pictures. If someone was going to profit off of pictures of my baby, it should be me. They are going to hound her to death anyway. So, by all means, I would've sold the photos.

Who knows, maybe she will become a better mother then her big sister!

Somewhere, I read that Jamie Lynn's family had a decoy leave the hospital with the father of the baby. The paparazzi followed them to the Spears' home while Jamie Lynn left the hospital with security and they drove her to her own home. I thought that was pretty creative... I also hope that she is a good mom. What a huge responsibility.
