What is your SO's job title?

I'm embarrassed to admit that I did not know what my DH's job title was until I did a Google search. Yikes. My excuse is that he changed jobs three months ago and even though he's told me several times, I could not remember what it is.

His job title is: Applications Development - Banner Manager (now I don't feel so bad about forgetting!)

What is your Significant Other's job title?

He used to be a Ceramic Engineer, but now he is a Quality Assurance Manager. (I still can't explain what they do there tho....I know they make refractories but that's ALL I know!)

Easy Peasy, Dh is a small business owner. He refers to himself as "head chief". LOL
He owns a Napa Auto Care, not an actual Napa store.

"Retired" He spent 36 years in the Automotive diesel crankshaft manufacturing sector and now he is officially the king of the homestead here and we both love it. It was well worth the wait! He just turned 55 years young.

CNC supervisor for a production machining company

Computer Numerical Controlled machines that are used to make marine parts. At least that's the greater part of the business they do now.
DH oversees 2 shifts, used to be 3. He writes the programs, enters the program and gets the program running with the first part approval by QA.

My Aunt was (shes retired) a music professor at NIU
My DH is a Master Carpenter (his union designation). He is truly gifted with his hands. He made all of the boys bedroom furniture, a beautiful carved cabinet in my living room, and hand carves birds from a piece of wood as a hobby. The birds take months to complete, as they are perfectly detailed in every way (each line on each feather carved). They look real and he has won some prizes for his woodcarving. He is also interested in the old arts, like plaster work and tin. I have fancy plaster designs on all of my ceilings. He also built our house.
I am a very boring "sales representative".

WOW! Brenda, how long ago did your aunt work here? I've been here for 28 years, so I bet there's a good chance that I know her (or at least know OF her). And since this is still a "relatively" small community, if she lives here, I might very well know her.

(Don't post her name here, but if you'd like, PM me and let's see if I know of her just to see what a small world it is.)

My dh is a college student (he has a double major- database administration, and web development). One he hates, and one he likes.

He should have studied video games... it is all he does.

LOL LOL! Crack me up... you are so funny!

I hear day after day what my DH does (he really talks about work all the time!) and I had no idea what his *title* was. It's funny because it seems like it has nothing to do with what he talks about day after day.

Toonces, I had to laugh this weekend and it was partly because of you!
I was watching the best of SNL, and they said the name "toonces" during the show. Did you get your name from some characters off of SNL?

Anyway, I laughed a bit, cause I never really knew what your name meant. For some reason I always kept thinking of some Cartoon from Cartoon Network!
