Arrow Our Missing Neighbor

UPDATE- Let's try this again! CBS 48 Hours has rescheduled the episode featuring Jennifer’s abduction, which will now air Tuesday, July 1, 2008, at 9:00 PM. Please check your local CBS station for exact air time as it varies across the country. Thank you!

Hi everyone~
As some of you already know, our next door neighbor, Jennifer Kesse, has been missing since January 24, 2006. Her parents actually live next door to us and Jennifer was living in Orlando, FL, after graduating college and beginning a new chapter in her life. Her parents got that dreaded phone call one morning that Jennifer had not shown up for work that day. They knew something was wrong because it was not her nature to be irresponsible and be a no-show at work for no reason. Presumably, she had been abducted from her apartment complex early that morning. Her car was found two days later in a near by apartment building parking lot and clean of any evidence. Her purse, cell phone, credit cards and other personal belongings have never been used nor recovered. To put it in her parent's words......"She simply vanished!"

Since that fateful day in January 2006, her parents have been relentless in keeping her story alive in the news. They have many accomplishments to their credit regarding Missing Persons, laws and awareness of crimes here in Florida. They have appeared on many local and national TV shows getting Jennifer's story out there. This Tuesday night, CBS 48 Hours show is featuring Jennifer's case. It should be insightful and I urge you to watch. This is a horrible, needless crime against a young, innocent victim. Again, it's Tuesday night, July 1st, 48 Hours on CBS at 9:00 PM, but please check your local listings and local times for the CBS channel in your area.

Jennifer's parents also have a website dedicated to her abduction with lots of updated information about her disappearance. Please take a look at.... Jennifer Kesse - Please Help Find Her

With every news release and TV appearance about this ongoing case, her parents hope that someone will come forward with information that might give them closure to this crime. Perhaps this 48 Hours show might do that!

In an instant, a peaceful day can become a nightmare when a child is discovered missing. Please keep the Kesse family in your thoughts and prayers, giving them the strength to face each new day without their daughter.

Mark your calendar!

I must have missed this if you posted it before. How horrible that a half second difference in the "person of interest" could have meant a much better photo. My DD is 23 I cannot imagine what her parents have been going through. I am just heartbroken and a don't even know them.

I'll also set the DVR to record the program to make sure I don't miss it. My prayers are going out to Jennifer and her family in hopes that the TV broadcast can bring some answers.

I just couldn't imagine being in their shoes. Please update us on July 1st, so that I can make sure to watch. Their family is in my prayers. Is there anything we can do here?

Tuesday night's 48 Hours show is focasing on almost two identical cases....that of Jennifer Kesse (my neighbor) from Orlando, FL and Tara Grinstead of Ocilla, GA, who is a teacher that disappeared on 10/22/05. Both of these girls simply vanished. Could their cases be linked???

I watched It, it was very chilling to see the camera footage of the person by the fence, if only the camera would of caught it a second before maybe they would know what happened.. its all just very sad
