My husband is like a Volkswagon bus chugging up the hill concentrating on making it up the hill totally focused on that hill. He cannot hear, see or think of anything other than getting up the hill.

I am like a brand new SUV with a GPS, Satellite Radio, a TV, a laptop, a cell phone dock and a built in stove and operating all these items, paying attention to all of them, knowing what is going on with everything and planning my next five moves.

It takes my husband five minutes to explain someting that I would say in 37 seconds. I am always anticipating what's coming next and he is still answering that question that I asked him last week.
We balance each other out. He is teaching me patience.

My husband is like a sports car, he has to get there NOW, get whatever he wants NOW, never pays attention to who or what is in his way...


I'm like my car, a mercury sable, i'm steady, like my comforts, and can wait for something i really want because i know its going to be good.
