Kelly Just about ALL the reality shows allow "input" from the "producers" and whatever station it is on. They want good "TV" personalities--which is why there is always a good-guy and a villain who go far on all these shows. You will see this same disclaimer on Project Runway, all the cooking shows, etc. I think that ONLY the Bachelor and Survivor series do not do this (And I believe that even those two shows have some sort of input into outcomes). Although I don't believe it, there have also always been claims that shows like SYTYCD and even AI have had voting "rigged" somehow---how would the viewing audience actually know anyways?

I can understand the "show" wanting a certain type of contestant, but once the show starts, the judges (or tv audience or whatever) should be making all the elimination decisions. |

Yeah, the producers want to keep the contestants who provide drama. Lisa, on Top Chef was always in the bottom three but she go to the finale. Omarosa from the Apprentice stayed around for awhile too.
