I believe it's equal parts of water and white vinegar (I did like 4 drops of each into a cup and then put a couple drops in her ear). I had to do this about a month ago for my dd and thank goodness her babysitter's dd is a swimmer at school, so she knew what to do.

Adding +vinegar to the search helped some. swimmers ear Another site mentioned peroxide, which I've used at full strength for cleaning. Feels sort of creepy, but not painful. |

When my kids were still kids at home the Pediatrician told me to mix equal parts of rubbing alcohol with vinegar in a 4 oz. bottle. Put a couple drops in each ear prior to swimming to prevent swimmers ear. It does work. I hope you get your dd's ears cleared up quickly. I know how painful it is.

I have heard that putting a few drops of rubbing alcohol in each ear right after swimming helps ward off swimmers ear. Also, monthly dousings of Hydrogen Peroxide keeps the ear wax under control, in case they are prone to a build up of this. good Luck. My DD had this a couple months ago.
