So, what exactly are these girls ( women)? Hugh's girlfriends ? TMI--but does he sleep with all 3 ? I know, I am stupid...I just do not see what these women get out of this, except to go to fab parties and get to live in his mansion.

He takes turns "sleeping with" the other girls but only Holly actually sleeps with him. They get to party all the time, live in a mansion, and meet celebs. I think Holly really does love Hef and Bridget does too. Kendra I think is only along for the free stuff.

I watch it too and I heard that Holly sleeps in the same room with him every nite and Tuesday nights are the 3 girls and him together.....very interesting for sure.

He's married to the real girl next door, Kimberly Conrad Heffner.

I think that the TV show's 'girls next door' could possibly be considered gold diggers and call girls for what their responsibilities are as far as Hef. Hef has never been one to do things in a conventional way.

I watch occasionally... Sadly, I find it sort of intriguing!

Holly truly wants to marry Hef. She is in love with him. Bridge and Kendra are truly just trying to kick start their careers. Hef will never marry again. I would not want to live in the mansion because thier bedrooms are puky pink and just odd decor for being an adult. Supposedly the girls fight a lot off camera but on camera everything is tulips and roses. I would'nt want to get it on with Hef. Maybe if I was his age but now being in my 30's. That is just disgusting.

The girls all have "little girl" voices and laughs and bedrooms. They collect stuffed animals and the show portrays them as if they were anywhere from 12 -16 running around and giggling and liking to go on long slip 'n slides, talking baby talk to their pets, cooking and throwing parties. In many ways they could be charming. But it does hide the fact that the mansion's purpose is primarily sexual.

i agree they act like teenagers, thats why I was shocked to find out how old two of them were. I was like grow up honey!..lol. and bridget has like 2 master degrees and she still acts childish.

Very interesting article. I believe Holly has been his main girl for seven years now.

Each to his (and her) own, for sure, but it seems sad to me that any of these girls would CHOOSE to share this elderly man. The payoffs/kickbacks/perks couldn't possibly balance out the fact that they're wasting some of the most precious years of their own lives. I can't imagine that any of these girls aren't some day going to look back at the last 5 to 10 years and be bitter about what they squandered just to be in the public eye, or to feel important. Really, they just allowed themselves to be used...however they slice it...

I read the article and maybe I'm being too harsh, but I'm not too sure I beleive everything she has to say. Just seemed like a lot of double talk to me.

I watched part of an episode and just kept thinking "What are these girls going to tell their kids someday?"
