Tickets to a rock and roll revival and a gas card so she can get there. To make it extra special send her in a limo.

We're big into the Gift Cards for our parents who are the same...have everything, need nothing. They enjoy going out.

They love AMC Gift Cards for movies, restaraunt Gift Cards and GC to the local dinner theater. We just gave them one for Omaha Steaks but haven't heard the review yet on whether they liked it or not.

Does she love to brag about her grandchildren?

how about a necklace with charms, one for each of her grandchildren?

My parents don't use their GCs for months on end... or years. I'm sure a lot of them get forgotten or lost. If you know the recipient will appreciate a GC, that's fine and dandy.

This might sound corny, but how about a lovely story or poem about yourself? Tell your mom how much you appreciate her giving birth to you and highlight some life's events.

Another thought...a professional picture of just you and your mom. That would be a treasure for both of you.

Gather as many photos as you can of your mom and her siblings growing up. Ask friends and family to write short notes (use special ink which won't run) and create a photo book for her. Leave one page blank and explain you will all be going for afamily photo.

I like this idea. You could take her to lunch/dinner and make a day of it. Or, if your family is localized, you could even do one with you, your mother and your sisters (if you have any). You could also add grandma and granddaughters (if any) and do a female family generations portrait. Or, you could just make a scrapbook/photo album of the grandkids or highlighting a memorable time in her life.

A rainbow maker is a unique gift for someone who has everything. It's solar powered, sticks to the window, and has a Swarovski Crystal that turns and casts rainbows around the room. Amazon.com: rainbow maker I got one for my mother a few years back. She's kind of hard to shop for because she has pretty simple taste, but I don't want to buy her the same boring stuff year after year. She wasn't too excited about it, but a lot of family members and her friends really liked it. After their compliments she grew a little fonder of it. (LOL) I usually end up getting her lotion and candles every year from B&BW because I know she likes them.

How about you taking her out for lunch and you both have a pedicure afterwards? My MIL just had her first ever pedicure (she's 83) and she loved it! At their age, it's hard for them to cut their nails. My MIL said she felt like a queen sitting there!
